I have a 2015 Prime ION, when I originally went to Riverside archery store I had another bow in mind. And believe me I'm the type of person that does a ton of research before I go spend big dollars on something. Long story short I tried the blow out that I was thinking of getting, was going to walk out the store with it and one of the workers told me do you buy the first car you see on the lot lol. That makes sense to me I said okay, give me another bow. he gave me the prime. And when I pulled it back and fired it I was like wow. I'm trying to keep this short but I was so amazed with that bow so amazed that I didn't even buy neither one of them that day. I went home to think about it, and do some research on the prime quick research that is. Went back the next day tried a couple more different bows, ask the guy that was helping me yesterday, bring back the prime. I shot it a few more times and walked out with it, After I paid of course lol My opinion primes are virtually second to none they're phenomenal bows and mine is a 2015 I would love to try the 2019. When I went to get the arrows for my bow I had the guy at the archery store a different one local to my house shoot my bow to give me the correct length of arrows. And he even he was amazed, he shot it like four times then turned to me and asked me. if you don't mind how much you paid for your bow? Don't know about the current prices but at that time my bow was brand-new just hit the shelves early 2015 with everything on it stabilizers Target sites and all I paid about 1,500. He then turned to me and said he shot many bows in his life time that cost 1500 but they shot like a $800 bow He said you're bow shoots like a $1,500 bow. I will be amazed if any other bow has the same impact on me as the prime, everything from the stable ability, the grip, the valley that you can adjust, just how the overall feel and the accuracy. If anyone is considering to buy a bow before you do, try out the prime 👍😉

The ultimate hunting bow Prime would be all carbon and 31 ax to ax. Wood grip boys. Back to drawing board

Carbon is light yes, but can be noisy and also look at the issues Hoyt is having already. Now the ATA, me personally I am in love with 33 inch. forgiving and less string angle, yes again everyone is different. The wood grip?It found you are more accurate with bare riser and less things to work free, crack, break, etc. I think there is a reason they are the MOST ACCURATE, they were on the drawing board.

Actualy the longer 33 and 35 inch ata bows are more stable and centurgy grip gets on target and holds there effortlessly , i hunt out of a stand and a blind with my ct5 and love it
