Take 2 pens or markers, tape them at the 2 and 10 o'clock position. Center the logo up and tighten as you push up. It will give you perfect spacing around the tip and will be centered.

Changing the tips out alone won't give you a huge difference in sound on your truck, honestly. You may notice the exhaust pitch go a *little* bit deeper or resonate a bit more, but the direct-fit muffler you're referring to will make the largest difference. -Zach

I just bought these and have 1 in and I don't know if it's the truck bought in late July 2019 or the tips but they do not sit snug at all.. I lined up the bracket and the tip and had to wrench the bracket on so tight. It was not as easy as this video makes it look..

RJ Phillips same thing here. I just bought these set of carven tips. I have a 2019 Ram rebel and I’m having a hard time trying to put them on.

@@RContreras1 I had to wrench so hard I thought I was going to break something. Also, in the video and most pictures it stuck out a few inches and this one is pretty flush with the bumper.

Just tried to install on my 2019 warlock and it was not snug at all the end of the exhaust tips I took of and these carven tips are 1/4” difference and I tightened the clamp as hard as I could.

These tips are specifically for the 2019-2020 model RAM 1500s, not the 2019 Classic. That's most likely the cause of your fitment issues. -Zach

Exhaust tips aren't cheap, let alone double-walled 5" tips that are ceramic coated black like this, that are also a direct fit. For the ease of install and high quality, they're worth it. -Zach

@@AmericanTrucksRam You already had exhaust tips...just paint them black. As a viewer I dont want to get talked into wasting money on what amounts to a can of spray paint

We're not trying to trick anyone to purchase these tips. But if you want some larger tips that are double-walled, a direct replacement, more aggressive ascetically and have a long-lasting ceramic coating; we got something for you. By all means painting your stock tips is an option, this would look better in my own opinion. -Zach

@@ConquerCollin As they said, exhaust tips aren't the cheapest thing on the market. It's ceramic coated which isn't the same as rattle can paint. If you think $200 is too much then don't do the mod.
