2019 ram 5.7 L water pump replacement

Not the best video, but not the worst about replacement of a water pump on a 2019 dodge ram 1500 5.7 L hemi. There’s quite a bit of hoses that connect to this water pump . Make sure you double check all your bolts before you put them back in. Follow the same process you did for disassemble to assemble water pump. Take your time. Take pictures do your research. It’s not all that bad. I hope you enjoy the video. I hope you learned a little bit. My water pump possibly went today. I'm not very knowledgeable with car things and certainly not with engines, but I've done all maintenance on our vehicles to this point and am dumb/bold enough to try this. Thanks to you and mechanic KZbin for videos like this!

@@theexposurenetwork365 I think I grabbed 3 gallons of the Chrysler coolant. Make sure you get the right stuff.

Thanks for the video , it helped me replace my water pump with not too much difficulty. The dealer said about $700 parts and labor to replace my leaking water pump. Got the pump at Oreilly's auto parts for $133 plus tax. Saved over $500 took me about 2.5 hours. Hardest part was keeping track of the bolts and where they went. Thanks again.

Great video I watched this and replaced my water pump. I have no leaking the question I have is how do I know if the clutch fan is on tight enough. I didn’t have to wack it with a hammer or nothing to remove with the tools I rented and saw on forum that the clutch tightens itself but idk how true that is and didn’t want to have a horrible wreck because it came off. The fan turns a lil when I spin it but doesn’t turn a whole 360 by hand and the water pump pulley doesn’t move. I didn’t have torque wrench so I’m just a lil worried if it’s isn’t tight enough it will come off while I’m driving. Your video was great help I just marked the bolts on old pump so I knew where to put certain ones. I drove truck 75 mph on freeway with drove good

Do you have a part number for the water pump? I have a 21 Laramie with eTorque but assuming it's the same being 5th gen.

It’s a water inlet and it can be removed to be replaced buuuuut… Ram doesn’t sell just the tube 😂
