I was kind of born into the whole car audio world. My dad owned several stereo shops throught Southern California. Being an installer myself since I was around 10 yrs old I'm definitely not a "noobie" and from my years of experience there has always been 3 different types of installers. There are "Bad" installers , "good" installers, and there are "great" installers.... Until I came across a few of your videos. You my friend are in a class of your own!! You're attention to detail is amazing and the love you put into your work definitely shows on so many different levels. Hands down the best installer I've ever seen! keep up the great work!!
@Jdub14353 жыл бұрын
Awesome work! You're workflow is so efficient, a true master at your craft at work, it is a pleasure to watch! That would have taken me days to pull off wiring that amp rack up. I get frustrated sometimes just wiring up a simple 2 amp system and coming up with the best way to arrange all the wires and distribution blocks with the limited space I have to work with , and make it look great and professional. Its amazing to me to see how quick and efficient you achieve this in a relatively complicated install such as this. I guess a lot of it comes with experience and a lot of trial and error over the years, but you are just great at what you do and your videos are always helpful and informative and I appreciate the work you put into making quality top notch videos as well. It is easy to see you have been doing installs for a couple of days.

I have been a hobbyist in car audio industry as long as I had a license to drive. For the the most part, I've hardly ever encountered any installers that genuinely care about their work. You guys are a huge exception to that! Keep up the amazing work! This was so satisfying to watch as with all your videos! I hope one day I can have you guys work on one of my audio projects.

Y'all know I love you guys to death y'all do the most amazing job unimaginable basically as always doing it up right literally up right but (This is my opinion ladies and gentlemen) This customer literally should have went with the Digital Designs audio 5.1500 5 Channel amplifier. Good enough amplifier for the whole vehicle in a lot easier to install. What I'm saying is a complete space saver. Anyway can't wait to see the next video. y'all are amazing seriously! Dean and Fernando y'all are top dogs in the auto audio world! They should make a video on TV or KZbin where they bring all the best auto audio installers together to do a challenge. That would be E P I C!!
@cheapme18503 жыл бұрын
I agree. I didn’t like the closing up of the air vents. At some point you have to tell the customer that something isn’t going to work or isn’t feasible. I know those amps cost a lot but those vents were put there for some reason and the customer may have to bite the bullet and find something that fits.

I've been around car audio and installations all my life. Starting at 8 years old in 1987. From North Carolina to Northeastern P.A. I want to say Dean, you are by far the absolute best installer I've ever witnessed! You are like and Audio god! Remember that? ( Dean the human Audio Bible) Thank you so much for these videos man I have picked up a ton from watching and learning. You have inspired me to be better than I've ever imagined! Fernando you are not far behind Dean Amigo I have been here from the start and was a patron for almost 2 years witnessing you become this master installer almost as good as your teacher. ( I am so envious ) You both are Rock Stars in the Audio world, there are many more that feel the same way. From florida to Maine across the country in Cali they may not say or admit it but its well known you 2 are the best there is in the installing world. From the soldering to the mounting. You both have made a huge impact in my life and now Im making money on weekends practicing what you teach. Funny looking at my work, sometimes I want to send pics saying look what you have thought me! You both have my gratitude and one day I hope to meet you guys.

Hey guys, long time watcher, first time... Question: I've searched through your million videos, and was wondering simply where do you source your speaker wire, what sizes do you use for different applications, and how to you twist them? I've always just used the regular paired wire from Stinger or NVX, but I never see you using that. Probably a couple rudimentary questions, but if there's not one already I'd love to see a few videos on some basic techniques, such as twisting wires etc. Thanks!
@southjerseysound73404 жыл бұрын
Google speedwire, it's what they use a lot of the time and as far as twisting goes, just put the ends in a drill,pull taught but not super tight and slowly twist it with the drill on low speed. Just remember that it's going to shorten the wire some by twisting it and if you go too tight on long runs it wants to bunch up. But if you yank on it after it helps to stop it from happening.

I am curious as to why you wouldn't just run the 0awg power wire externally then drill the proper sized hole, grommet the hole and bring the cable into the cab. I did this in my '95 Grand Cherokee. The cable was supported along the frame with nylon cable straps and self tapping screws. It was very secure and not one issue ever arose.

Yup, running 1/0 gauge in these new Rams is no fun! Dean, one thing I did to get it to lay right going by the front seat was to snip out that plastic divider that splits down the middle of the raceway. Once I did that, so much easier. Great job, to Nando and you, figuring out how to make the most out of a tight situation!
@southjerseysound73404 жыл бұрын
Another option is to run dual cables if it'll carry enough. I've found that it's easier to fit 2 smaller cables over 1thats like a fire hose in newer cars with tight interiors.

With removing the read vent and plugging it up with plastic foam and road kill, are you sure it's actually water tight? I had nothing but troubles when the installer did that toy 2017 Ram 1500. The only way for it to stop leaking was to reinstall the vent in the hole

Enduman The issue is trying to instal something to seal it from yhe back of the cab without removing the box. For some reason the back wall of the 4th gen ram trucks has a sandwiched tack weld back wall. If the two halves aren't sealed properly, it leaked.
Hi I have car audio system and try to fix it but I don’t know why my speaker makes buzzing noise. I did every thing to stop the noise but can’t stop. Even remove the rca cable from the headunit to amp don’t stop. I only connect the power to amp it start make noise even I don’t connect the rca cable from headunit. If you can help me. Thank you.
