It's crazy. I've had 3 ram 1500s so far. First was a 2012 and when you turned the traction control off. It was fucken off. My 2015 would let you play sometimes. But my current 2020 won't let you DO SHIIIIT. man I'm so un happy with the traction control button. It's pointless. Why even put a trac control button there if it doesn't do shit.

You know you can just hold down the traction control button for 10 seconds and it will turn off TC and ESC, right? Of course this only works in 4x4 mode.

Did you try holding down the traction control button for like 5-10 seconds until is says traction control off?

yes and that will allow you to do straight line burnouts, as soon as your truck steps out about 10 to 15 degrees the electronic stability control kicks in a straightens the truck out. You have to have the truck in a 4x4 driving option to turn electronic stability control off, which hinders wheel spin big time.
