I drive a 2005 Clio Mk2 Phase 2.5. My mother bought it new and its got about 190,000km. Still very solid drive and comfortable for cruising considering its 15 years old.. Can't wait for this to come to Malta, as I intend to buy one if it suits my desires, which I think it will

wHAT you said of the gearbox is rightful. However, it was worse in the previous Clio generations :)), the around year 2006 model had much lower-quality shifter and steering wheel. Don't ask me how I know.

Hi Pit-Stop, i am currently user of the latest clio and i will wait for the bigger instructor screen to buy this one! Nice review but you forgot to show us a little bit the reverse 360o new cameras :)

I did forget... I even thought to myself I wanted to comment on it. The reversing camera is 'okay' with its resolution and clarity. Not horrible, not great.

I switched off ten seconds into the vid put off by the totally unnecessary background racket. Surplus to requirements. Not only did the noise add nothing to the presentation, quite the contrary, for me it detracted from your purpose. (Oh, was there something about a car too?)

You can't imagine the headaches of repairing these new Renault cars. They are full of exterior frames and brackets. Not to mention that to identify a part Renault software makes you a quiz that looks more like a criminal investigation case. To make matters worse, the old cars brought the oval plate which helped a lot, now the new cars only carry the Vin sticker with the color code.

This Clio is so much better than the old one in every aspect. The Clio 4 was such a dissapointment compared to the Clio 3, especially in terms of comfort.

In comfort? Why? Only downside is isolation. And New Clio is also not so great on this point. On the other side... Great price, great car!

@@jonasrossaert2836 The Clio 3 was far more comfortable and less noisy than the Clio 4 (heck, even the Clio 2 was better). It also has a strangely cheaper built dashboard compared to the Clio 3, although the dashboard is slighly better built in the pre-facelift models.

The Edition one looks like the RS line version in the UK but only comes in semi automatic. 1.3tce. There's a few minor exterior differences like the back. The interior looks similar but with extra red trim and the double yellow diamond RS logo on the wheel and drivers door mat.

Pit-Stop A little plastic strip along the dash doesn’t really count, my Clio’s entire top of the dash is brown and various trim is a cream color including on the steering wheel. The materials aren’t as nice as this new Clio but it feels much more cheerful

I dont get it. You say the top of the line is 25k euros, here in Portugal on the Renault site it is almost 28k euros. Again, Portugal, is always getting screwed with crappy taxes. In any case, I am a bit divided between the Clio RS line with the 130cv engine, and the GT Line from the Peugeot 208. The thing is, the Clio has 4 cylinders. I do not trust these new engines turbo charged with 3 cylinders.

Yes, the prices vary quite a bit throughout Europe, so I simply give the ones over here. We have some fairly high car taxes as well but it seems they're not the highest!
