Last comment was the most insightful remark in the entire symposium. We are treating a secondary component of the disease (inflammation) and missing the primary epithelial component of the disease.

Thank You! Lots of hard work and time that is so over due. I'm 67 years old and have been living with HS 50 yrs! Many Surgical treatments ect. I would be available for ANY ways to help Ive have and had all three stages You are angels on this earth! This is so needed to help all with this H.I.D.E.. A word used because its so shame base. You have given me hope that I"ll finally understand what the hell is going on with HD..

Iv got HS and over the past two years, it has become worse than ever. I’ll visit dermatologist, but no one seems to have answers for me. They don’t even look at them. They just say that there isn’t a known reason as to why they occur and that there isn’t a cure of it. I was told to go see a surgeon. I don’t know what to do anymore. This has pushed me so far into depression

Hi I’m 16 with HS, I’ve had it for a year and some change. I know how you feel. My derm said it’s just HS and told me straight up it’s not curable. Didnt even take a look at it.
