I love the ruggedness of Sportsmobile's Ford Econoline vans, but I much prefer their Sprinter high roof interior options. I would not buy any camper van without a proper bathroom, that's a must have for me. I wish they would address the tech specs in these videos, so people can have an idea of what fresh/grey tank sizes they offer, what battery sizes, solar options, etc. I do know that a 2000 watt inverter is woefully inadequate for an all electric rig, should be 3000 watts as standard with all the electronics people want to run these days, especially if you plan to run the AC simultaneously with other stuff. Also, they NEVER tell you the price!

Those side ottomans are required to create the bed. Without them the bed wouldn't be large enough. The Sprinter isn't wide enough for anyone over 5ft 6 or so to sleep side to side.

same thing I was thinking... that bed to couch/futon works great already. I'd probably make those side chairs a full size closet and the other side for storage/entertainment/or job related.

I've looked at dozens of different 4x4 Sprinter camper vans and this Sportsmobile comes very close to my ideal configuration. I love the all electric and the rack system on the top is pretty slick. The only thing missing is an elevated fixed bed with a "garage" underneath, but I assume that can be custom ordered (?)

You probably need to go Sprinter LB (170" wheelbase, 22' feet long) or EB (170" wheelbase, 24' feet long), not the length featured in this excellent video. Here is a great example of EB with the raised bed/garage option: www.curbed.com/2018/7/11/17550142/camper-van-conversion-vanlife-sportsmobile. I happen to like this one too, but trying to fit it into the 22' length. Keep in mind that the LB and EB base vans (before conversion) are the same cost. Every Sportsmobile is custom and you can play around with different layouts on their DYO site: sportsmobiledyo.com//dyo/.

What have they done to minimize the EMF radiation from the fridge beaming on the driver constantly? Maybe add a radiation shield inside back of drivers seat might work.

Good as far as it goes but was hoping for more details on the specs: wheelbase was mentioned but what about other exterior dimensions and curb weight? How big is the PV array? How much battery capacity? Size of fresh and holding tanks? MSRP as shown?

Saw one of these in Yellowstone and talked to the owners for awhile. They had a pop up top and interior was set up different, I think they had a better set up than this one. I definitely would like to get one, perfect vehicle for me to have for traveling to do wildlife photography.

Nice Van. But if the white dot is a CO2 Alarm it should be mounted in middle height in the Van. CO2 IS not lighter than air.

Go to their website. They are custom manufacturers and will make anything in anything. The Sprinters are available in 144" or 170", not sure what this one is. He might have said it but I missed it if he did.

It has full RV hookups. So it registers as a camper van, aka Class B RV.
