Anjali, I'm so glad I stumbled upon your video! Yours is the first van without a permanently designated toilet and shower that I felt I could live in comfortably. Your layout is ace. In every way! Separating door between the cab and rest of the van. Swing chair in the doorway. Perfectly adequate kitchen setup. Good-sized garage. Comfy bed. Great set-up for remote work. My only other ask in a perfect setup would be a couch I could lounge on, but the bed provides that in your layout. On top of all that, you're a fellow woman of color doing van life?!! Love all of this for you and possibly me in the future

That RV is just a prop. No way they live there for real.

To each their own, but I wouldn't want this for my children. We wanted a normal upbringing for them. As for traveling, and experiences, our family went on many inexpensive vacations, and had our home, friends etc to come home to. This is rv thing not the life for us. Now we live in a gated resort for manufactured homes, and there is a separate rv section. I have talked to many people who do that life style, and it always comes down to them wanting a real home. RV life is expensive, and involved. I appreciate when people talk about all of the downsides of it. There are many places around where I live that are rv storage. Its a toy you never stop paying for. On one vacation we took as a family, out in the middle of the desert to mining towns etc, we met an elderly couple who had a big rv that broke down. It took a week plus for the parts to come in, and have it fixed. Thankfully they were able to find a hotel room for that time. Could we have broken down in our car too? Sure, but we always used rental cars. Just saying.......

This house looks more like 800 sq ft, not 400 sq ft. It must be the way she has it decorated with all bright colors and all the cabinets are also bright colors. It's a very nice home!

Your home is wonderful. Your renovation has made it warm and comfortable looking. You're giving your children an incredible lifestyle and learning experience. I also live in a renovated RV (5 yrs now.) I am stationary in an RV park. I made this decision to be able to live tiny within the city limits to have a short commute to work. I love it and will never go back to living in a conventional house or apartment. Thanks for the tour and sharing your story. Happy and safe trails to your family.
