Ride in the mountains of Idaho on Suzuki King Quad 750. On this trip I hit a couple of more technical stretches of rocks. Stop to look at some wildlife and scout for Idaho huckleberries.

I still have a hard getting use to the Grizz with IRS over the solid rear axel when climbing , Nothing better than Grouse hunting cant wait for this season !

You can really see the better articulation of the rear end with the sway bar removed!

I think it makes a noticeable difference. It is a bit more scary on the off camber stuff though. I’m getting more used to it though.

Damn you have some very nice trails. Our trails are close due to high fire danger it maybe months😔 before they open again unless it rains really good. In fact 22 miles northwest of me there is a fire now it about 75 acres so far 😡. Super jealous of all those great trails you have and beautiful country to see while riding them.

I do feel spoiled when it comes to trails and access. Both Arizona and Idaho have tons of public ground and trail networks. Fire danger is on the rise here too, but so far they haven’t closed any of the trails we hit.

Aaron, thanks for the ride along! I keep seeing comments about the KQ 750 having a rough ride. How would you compare the ride to a SRA 650 Brute Force? I'm 70 and need a little more comfort on the trails. Thanks and keep the videos coming!
@aaronkelley74483 жыл бұрын
I haven’t spent any time on a Brute and can’t really give a good opinion on the ride comparison. I can say that the newer (2019 and newer) kings have stiffer shocks and ride rougher from the factory. I started mine off with Sedona Ripsaw tires and it was way too stiff. I pulled over twice and aired down a couple times to try and soften up the ride. Didn’t really help, so I switched out the tires and put Maxis Bighorn 2.0s on. Made a huge difference and I love the ride now. I also removed the sway bar which made it even smoother. As it sits now I can’t imagine the SRA Brute riding near as smooth. Wish you lived close enough, I’d let you try it out.

I have a 21 KQ and tried removing the rear sway bar. I have some tricky sections on my property and the quad would so smoothly walk over crazy obstacles. Loved it and the ride on rough terrain was awesome. However the the tilting started annoying me to death. So put it back on. Rides rough but doesn’t lean when you stare at it 😂
@aaronkelley74483 жыл бұрын
It really does lean more with it off, but like you say it’s really smooth in most situations. I may put mine back on too just to see the difference again. I’ve had mine off for over a year now.

That's a great tire setup, what size big horns are you running?
@aaronkelley7448 Жыл бұрын
They are the stock size of 25x8x12 front and 25x10x12 rear. They are still going strong and I’ve got around 3000 miles on that set. They were on my 2017 before I moved them to my 2019

Not sure why people say the ride is rough in my opinion it is nice

The stock king quad has a pretty good ride right out of the factory, but the 2019 is definitely sprung stiffer than the earlier years. That combined with stiff sidewalls on some tires ends up giving a stiffer ride than I like. Thanks for watching!
