Used to consider buying the City, but after the new Vios came out i would actually buy this one instead with all those features the City lacks. 360 camera in a rm70k plus car? Crazy. Back in the day only cars priced at rm200k has that.

Great Job Bobby! Honestly, it will definitely be better without the plastic fitting in the front, but hey, I still like the rounded front, as compared to the city which has a duck/beak like front imo. Getting mine next week.

The back is well designed. At least, Vios finally managed to design the rear lamp passing through the back door instead of avoiding the door as in previous Vios versions. However, the front looks too much stuff fitted in one go.. Looks overcrowded to me..

Hi guys. Im deeply saddened seeing this review. It just made me realized how much downgraded the vios is in my country, the Philippines. The top spec vios in my country doesnt have leather seats, dash cam, safety cameras (heck, it doesnt even have any sensor and reverse cam) and so much more. The pricing of the vios in my country might be even higher than the equivalent in Malaysia. Cars here are taxxed exorbitantly but the taxes only goes to a few people's pockets. I feel my country is 20 years late from present automotive technology. The govt is so lapse in enforcing and creating stringent rules in car production and sales here. Hyundai has even the audacity of selling passenger cars without airbags because they can get away with it. GOD bless my country😣

@@BobbyAngmalaysia im a fan. Knowing that you speak your mind outright. If the vehicle is trash you'll say it. Unlike in the Ph, automotive media are just platforms for these car giants to advertize. Follow top gear ph for example. There are just so much corruption in my country that even these car companies find a way to shortchange Filipinos. Car Taxes here are so high yet you see unpaved roads, unreachable provinces due to lack of road, bridges are built even there's no river below, there are all kinds of corruption. Hopefully someone like you in my country will do car reviews right and tell on these companies to give the people what they deserve. Try following Filipino car reviewers, most of them are so robotic. I dont know if theyre afraid to speak their mind or what.

Just got my Vios G-spec, terrible mileage after careful driving for 1 week, with full eco mode/ normal mode, I only managed to get 12.5-12.9km/L under combined city and highway driving(light footer). Far worse mileage than my previous Vios. I made complaint to SC, they checked and replied me everything is in good condition. I'm doomed.

use normal mode maintajn under 2k rpm u will get better mileage. eco mode is for balik kampung highway drive maintain speed okaylah coz eco mode it decrease the pedal response in city driving u will need more pickup so use normal mode is enough

new cars would always use more fuel, usually after a few thousand of kilometer the car begings to perfome well. don't worry the fuel consumption can't be that bad.

thats weird. i drive on normal mode only and i could get - 23km/l if maintain at speed 90kmh, 20km/l drive at 120kmh, and 13km/l if drive at 180kmh.. for urban+rural driving (im staying at shah alam and work at kl sentral), it consume 17km/l.. try not to use eco mode mate
