Don't really understand why Isaiah was allowed to play in this? He is sponsored by DD? And junior champ? On top of that plays with pros on the reg and this is his home course? I understand all of my complaints are not rules for Match play. But this seems super unfair.

How does any of that factor into playing this event? Lots of amateur players are sponsored and get beat by non local players on their home course all the time... He also didn't make it past the first day last year on the same exact courses...

Why do you call the match before 18 holes are played? Although unlikely, it's possible that someone could fall apart and have a really bad hole. I guess it's just the format of this competition, but seems like you should have to perform the whole way through. Congrats on the big win, Isaiah and thanks for the coverage, DD!

in match play each hole is played like skins. Winner of the hole gets the point. Ties don't push. There would be no way for the opponent to come back so no need to finish out.

Amateurs aren't rated 965+. Sorry, I understand the structure of the PDGA, professional vs amateur blah blah blah, and he has never accepted cash, the one dude has declared whatever while still cashing for $804.... Amateur match play doesnt make sense for anyone above 950 rated. That's my $0.02 on youtube comments for the week.
