Thanks for watching! I want to note that all of this was filmed on the same day. I woke up early to film the static shots of Arteon where snow had fallen during the night. But by the end of the day, and when I started the rolling footage, this is when it all started to melt away. I live in a weirdly inconsistent part of the world for weather. @@albatraoz1473 How about you go and try an Arteon? Sit in the back, with your behind positioned normally (no cheating by moving it forward in the seat) and back properly against the seat back, and then sit upright, and see if your head hits the roof. If that test passes, then attempt to rest your head back on to the head rest. I'm only 6' tall, and the first test passes, but the second test fails - my head hits the roof, before it ever reaches the head rest. I'm a chauffeur, and unfortunately, this is completely unacceptable. It's a shame, because otherwise I think this car would make a pretty good limo.

The CC looked good regardless of the R-Line package. The Arteon however seems to have been designed around the R-Line pack since it looks soooooo much better with it, especially in the front. I saw a white R-Line with the 20inch rims the other day and it looked gorgeous. This and the Stinger are pretty much one of the few cars which really stand out from the crowd these days.

Vlad i agree. The only thing is the price. I know it is a great car but $46-48k seems like a lot for a 4 cylinder.

This car is not going to be a big seller for VW. First of all because of their reputation for unreliability. Also for the price tag of over 40k with a cheap 4cylinder engine and only 29O HP it does not represent a good value from a performance standpoint. The other issue is brand recognition. Most people spending lots money for a car will go for a BMW or Mercedes because are a symbol of status, a 40 k VW not so much.

The lack of head room in many modern sedans is bloody frustrating - thankyou for bringing this to our attention with the Arteon.

This is a fastback design that reduces the rear headroom a bit. Non-fast back sedans will have more rear headroom in principle.

Beautiful car, in that black. I only wish they didn’t have those buttons around shift lever inside, and had a option of a more powerful engine. Otherwise, this is the rightful heir to that first generation Audi A7. Gorgeous.

I hope that the silence from the frameless windows will last long. As long as the car is new it's ok but Sun and time are cruel and these types of windows are beautiful but usually louder than the frame ones.

Snowed overnight and melted that day. As you see from the static footage, it was all shot in the morning and the rolling footage was shot in the afternoon. My part of the world is weird like that...
