Price is almost near to fz25..not bad because of 6-speed gearbox and 4-Valve, SOHC / 4 Valves (per cylinder) and TCI (Transistor controlled ignition). Low in weight and liquid-cooled. Remember Cubic capacity is not everything in terms of power.

Can Indian buy mt - 15 of rupees 2.5 L ? Yamaha knows majority of Indian ppl can't buy a bike which costs more than 2L. So they removed some features. But yeah, it looks a bit overpriced because of its less features compare R-15 But don't forget, the engine of this bike is real gem. 19.2bhp power in fkin 150cc motor, no other competitor can give.

Bechara yamaha fas gaya india m mt 15 launch karke because mt 15 ka price 1lk 20 hazar hotato then fzs fz25 R15 tino bike bekar ho zata koi nahi leta because 1lk 20 hazar me mt 15 ka power looks pick up comfort sabkuch sabse baria hota or sablog mt 15 hi leta baki koi bike nahi leta or1 bath not only yamaha iss segment m kisivi company ki bike nahi chalti. It's high. But it'll will sell bro.. just like ktm 125..I took test drive of ktm 125 and it's is soo underpowered for a bike above price tag of 1lakh..at least this has some power.. if you ride 150cc bike or higher take a test ride of ktm125 and see the fun. Both Yamaha mt15 and ktm 125 have features but are overpriced..r15v3 makes sense since its faired bike unlike this naked version..

Yamaha India should launch their bikes same as international market hardware , they should source the parts competively and give the best price for Indian buyers. Yamaha India should think Indian buyer has changed a lot , earlier 150 cc segment was power segment but now it's not the case , people think 250 cc category is the starting performance segment. I am just sharing my opinion Instead of MT 15 and FZ 25 ,If Yamaha had launched Mt 25 with VVA , USD ,dual channel abs, alloy cast swing arms with pricing similar of Gixxer 250 then they would have become Lords of the 250 cc segment and Indian buyers would definitely consider this seriously.

I don't understand the economics behind this bike's pricing. Just rs3000 cheaper than r15, but misses on dual channel ABS. why? I mean for this price yamaha should've given dual channel ABS.

Mate, I have a FZ25 and have ridden this bike. The software and hardware provided in MT15 justifies the price. If you sincerely interested, try to understand the bike and then decide. I would have gone for this had it been launched before FZ25.
