Depends upon roads.. Here in gujarat even the state highways are amazing. You can cruise at 120 easily without any hassles.

I've been owing this machine for the past two years and I have to say its a brilliant motorcycle.....With cruising speed around 90 to 100 in the highways it gives me a solid 50 and if I do it 80s to 90s it gives me 55

Have had the MT15 for almost 3.5 years. Best cruising speed acc. Me was between 75~90 kmph and anything above that i felt like I'm really stressing the engine. The engine is refined, reliable and the mileage is also very good. Cons would be - stiff suspension, bad pillion comfort and very hard seat. Touring without pillion would be fine and that hard seat would make ur butt hurt after riding for n hour or so.

Yup I do it on R15 V3. At start it hurts. But once you get used to, it’s a blast. (Not a wind blast though 😁)

Thanks for sharing your experiences with the MT15. This bike should have been a dream come true but I am surprised that, it has found so few takers. Maybe it's the tall stance, maybe it is the styling. I believe Yamaha may fall well short of their Target with this one. Still with the addition of a new colour and better padding for seats, we look forward to a better BSIV model next year.

No...no...you won't have the benefit of either. This is light weight and not aerodynamic, so if you are doing a sprocket change for top end it would be useless. Plus the low end punch would go down too!

U should change the sprocket and retune the ECU like v3 to achieve the top end of it.

Where exactly is the confusion ? FZ25 is more comfortable ? FZ25 is quicker ? FZ25 is faster ? FZ25 pulls more mileage per litre ? FZ25 has shorter seat height ? FZ25 comes with dual channel ABS ? FZ25 has way bigger engine, does same speed as MT-15 at much lower RPM, means relaxed engine, that will result in longer engine life over long time ? Are you all confused by all the advantages of FZ25 ? Am I biased ? Read this post again and think again. Oh mi Gaad....Wait a sec......there is one thing with MT-15 that is the most important thing a biker needs; better headlamp.....Wow lets ignore FZ25 and buy the MT-15 Headlamp Edition.

Single day, I've done 350kms with pillion , single stretch I've done 140+Kms, Both got uncomfortable after 150kms, 10min break will relieve, , 6th 6000rpm hits 85 with 30% acc, I also suggest ride half the ride below 7.5rpm and above, Heating issue only city traffic ull get to know when the fans kicks in, Average speed is 75kms 2.2hours distance covered 140kms.
