167mph on the back straight is impressive for the tires being already worn (per the description in the PDR version of this video). That weekend is probably the last track event at COTA for the next few months with the coronavirus shutdowns. COTA laid off half of its employees Monday. Has me wondering if the next Edge Addicts event in mid May is going to happen...

Damn near top of 5th gear at 3:45 ish is fucking crazy. Top of 5th in my m7 Z06 is about 190 depending on conditions, before I die I hope I can experience flooring it through the top of all the gears in a ZR1

A Manual transmission!!!! It's Not about changing gears faster than a computer....for Me,its all about the driving experience of having More control of the engine,and gears...the pull of 3rd gear at 4000 rpms...😁

Those activate “rev match” aka auto blip. These cars had auto blip and No Lift Shift (NLS). It was a very awesome manual!!!

Speedo tapped 169mph, gps says 168mph! Not bad for the ZR1!

What an angry beast! I miss my tuned C6 Z06, but Corvettes are intimidating ( but oh, so fun) to drive on the limit at the track. My Porsche 911 is faster and a pussycat in comparison. More efficient but not so exciting. Only exception is the GT3 RS. Those are in the same league as the Z06 and ZR1.
