Nice. Been at a couple of Worlds and Euros. Love J24 sailing. Interesting to see how other boats do their thing. Just three crew? You must have been 100kg+ underweight.

J*22* has 275kg limit.

Stop sawing the rudder and you will go faster! Each time you violently move the rudder you slow, smooth movement means faster!

I basically agree with you, but seem to remember it was also to counteract the waves
