Craig wasnt even comfortable holding hands with JP at a airport were no one knew who they were. JP and Kieron was way better I still can't believe that JP chose for Craig i'm glad they broke up now.

I would understand Aaron not being comfortable with public displays of affection, but don't even see affection when he and Jackson are in private. They don't act like a couple in private either. Hopefully, things will get better in the near future.

UGGGGGHHH!!! Are Aaron and Jackson mates or dating? Anyone watching the show for the first time would have no idea. Are we ever gonna see any progression of intimacy between these tow blokes. Sheez the freakinn WHOLE village is obviously supportive of them and rolling out the red carpet, so why is it really so difficult for Aaron to show some sort of affection. Lack of affection thing: I used to get kind of frustrated when people complained about it, because honestly both of the characters are kind of 'macho' and would just never participate in PDA or anything like that. But now that I think about it, they really do just come across as buddies and it's becoming unconvincing why they would see each other in a romantic light when they just look and act like any other couple of good friends. Writers, give us SOMETHING already!

@haftrox1 I too am underwhelmed by American soaps, but this one has dissappointed me the most. When gay soap couples are getting more action than other countries, you know there is a problem! This storyline had such a promising start, and the acting has been brilliant throughout (the characters are great too), but if the writers keep this no kissing/intimacy up, I will have to stop watching. And with Jacksons mother moving in, it just seems like another way to keep them apart :-/

I agree with most of you guys: the "lack of affection" between Aaron and Jackson is becoming a bit tiresome. I know they can't exactly rip each other's clothes off in the middle of the Woolpack, but an occasional touch would'nt be out of place. We are about two months on from the "kiss" after all! The way they've been since, its almost as if the kiss and getting together never happened! Come on scriptwriters, show us a bit of love, I think the Great British Public can stand it!

Aaron is definitely getting more secure with his sexuality and you know how this show likes to draw out their story lines. so there will probably be a lot more intimacy coming. it's just a slow move. but that's what they do. I totally ignored that scene at first. good things are coming you guys!

The lack of affection is starting to become extremely unbearable for me. Just watch how much affection Aaron showed Victoria in this clip: Aaron & Victoria - Emmerdale - Enemies, Lovers & Friends (watch?v=rxKXGkZUA7A) If Aaron were like that with Jackson, they would be much more interesting to watch. I hope the writers change the direction of Aarson, because the more I watch them, the more I wish Aaron & Victoria would get back together, and Jackson would just find some other guy. Sad, I know.

@haftrox1 Well LuRe was getting confusing because Luke was still hung up on Noah, but as of now, he and Reid are official and Reid was even introduced to Luke's family as his boyfriend (which made me squeal). And you are right about the passion in their kisses... even though they haven't made love yet at least we get to see them be intimate and know that they want to. With Aarson it seems like they just want to be friends with benefits. Even with KISH, we at least got a brilliant love scene.

@PanndaKat I watch both!!! And Chroll :) All three couples are so intimate and actually touch each other. Its nice to see a gay couple treated like the straight couples. In Aaron's case, it seems like the writers are using his lack of acceptance to avoid gay scenes. I'm crossing my fingers that they pull it together though.

@pppmanly And I'm hoping the resistance isn't coming from Danny or Marc either :-/ From past interviews they gave, I understand that they are both uncomfortable with the physical scenes... I just hope they don't let that get in the way of the storyline and their onscreen relationship. One thing that I totally admire about Thore, Jo, Dennis, and Igor is they give it their all onscreen. They go for it without hesitation, and they are secure enough to make it look as authentic as possible.

I'm actually not bothered that much by the lack of physical affection. I guess because I know that some couples are just like that. My parents aren't demonstrative in public. At home, they are the exact opposite. Still, a little more affection would be nice.

@sea9262 KISH was amazing for like three months, and then the writers quickly sucked all the excitement and passion out of it (quite similar to this one actually). But yes, I totally agree that their love scene was one for the ages. I woulda killed for Aarson's first love scene to be like that :(

@mlorocker I thought LuRe was getting confusing because they never explicitly said what they were ('together', fwb, bf/bf, etc.) .. but at least when we see them making out we see know there's some romantic intent! (And don't get me started on American soaps, because I've grown up with oltl and to see what they did to kish... ugh) But Emmerdale has gotten so much praise for this pairing, I just hope they write them the right way and satisfy the fans while staying true to the characters.

@mlorocker I am hoping that the lack of physical or emotional affection between Aaron and Jackson is not due to resistance by the two straight actors to commit fully to the roles. Christian & Olli, and Deniz & Roman are good with affection, but there is another gay TV couple that beats even them with passion and lovemaking: Manuel & Lalo from Argentina's "Botineras". Check the 'Emsol' channel for episodes with English subtitles. They raise the bar.

haftrox1 i am not a LuRe fan. i'm a nuke fan meaning luke and noah, and the reason you can never tell that LuRe has any chemistry is because they don't not like luke and noah did. they called each other boyfriend and baby and you could really tell that they were in love they looked at each other with luke and reid you can't. i don't even watch the parts with them because i can't, it's not right at lease for me and i believe for other nuke fans as well. i love aaron and jackson together when though aaron seems like a tough guy he actually shows affection for jackson and kish was the same way. if there are any couples that belong together it would be luke and noah from atwts, aaron and jackson from emmerdale, kyle and oliver from oltl, brian and justin from qaf, will and sonny from dools, ollie and christian from vl, roman and deniz from awz, christian and syed from eastenders, john-paul and craig and ste and doug. all these couples belong together luke and reid does not but of course thats just my oppinion.
