Good & detailed vid. If you're spending your own money & can only have one, would you buy this Meepo Ninja Bamboo or the Tynee Explorer? I'm looking for a flexy deck for comfort rides with emphasis on smooth power & strong but still smooth brakes. Would love to have your input. Thanks

I'm sorry for Tyne but I think I'll choose Ninja. With the battery method using PCB substrate, we can expect better durability in flexible decks, and I think the 8Ah high-speed GaN charger was also very good.

Great video. I’ve always wondered about that kind of set up but I figured the rear would b way lower than the front. Guess I forgot about spacers. 😅😅. I luv the ninja setup 💯💯😎

I think the truck is also calculated and designed so that the deck is leveled because only the base plate should be replaced. And Thank you for watching :)

Do you know if there are motor mounts that dont extend as far backwards? I cant lift up to drag the board along from the front without the motor gaurds qnd plates scraping the road since they extend so far.

never thought about mixing the trucks like that, great idea. I'm tempted to buy this board just because I'm a bit bored with my wowgo AT2... this seems like it bests the wowgo in every way. how is the throttle response when accel from coasting? that is my main complaint for the wowgo, my meepo street board has a much better controller and smoother operation... where the wowgo had this particular issue when accelerating from a coasting speed (no throttle) to some throttle it actually tended to brake regen the board a bit which could toss your weight around

Video is top notch as usual. I'm torn now. It's a toss up between the hurricane ninja and the voyager. I don't know what one to pick now. I need to find a comparison video between the two board. I realize they probably aren't compareable just because one is all terrain and the other is street.. but I'd still like too see it. or at least get an opinion on the matter.

If you are not constrained by your budget, I think the Bamboo model, which has many advantages, is a better option. (Longer range, stronger power, two types of wheels, two types of trucks, etc)

Just bought a Meepo Voyager similar to the Zealot x in perf.thats an awesome board ,,also waiting for a Acedeck N1 Ill have on tuesday,was torn between the Pivot GT & the N1,Pivot was late with the sale where as Acedeck sent me a sale price first,now Im lookin at this Ninja

Well... In my experience, the Pivot GT was superior in terms of power performance. However, I felt the overall marketability of Ninja was better. (Charger, TKP/DKP truck settings and cyclone wheel)

Great review! I still don't understand what the difference is between the Ninja and the Bamboo Ultra. Seems like all specs and included accessories are the (except the charger) and is $200 less? They are still selling the Bamboo Ultra for $1399 and the Ninja for $1199! Anything I am missing?

Hi for Meepo Hurricane Ultra X, TKP or DKP version? I own Onsra Black Carve 3 Pro, which has TKP and I like how it carves. But how about this board I mention? What would you have picked TKP or DKP version? I like carving and smooth cruising rides.

You can use this charger for those, Additionally, the TKP base plate can be used on City Rider's DKP.

Hey 👋 so do meepo do different ESCs in their hurricanes then? You say this one is 55amp but I always thought the hurricane was a 70amp esc? Have all the hurricanes you’ve tested had a 55amp esc?

As far as I know, only the first generation of hurricanes use 70A of ESC.

@@KAMiJUINs oh really?? I’m surprised they’ve dropped it down to 55A in all honesty, they call it a 70 amp ESC on their site but then when you click on it, it says it’s a 55amp. So theoretically the original hurricane should be quicker than the current hurricane then? In my opinion 55amp is low for any board like this, and kind of makes sense as to why my dad’s Hadean feels so much quicker than my hurricane ultra.

There will probably be a difference in acceleration according to the amount of current. I think the reason they chose 55A was because they wanted to manage the discharge rate of the battery more safely while changing the battery from a P42A cell to a Samsung 40T cell.

Bought a mepo board for 600$ it broke in a week (lagit rideing it 1 mile to work and back)and when i asked for a refund they asked for 10 different videos to prove it was broken they then sent me the rong parts to fix my board and wanted me to pay for the return shipping and on top of that still never gave me a full refund

Treat your boards like shit and they’ll break. Have owned a total of 6 different meepo boards in my family over the past 5 years. all have ridden around 1000 miles with the only maintenance done being new wheels. If you’ve broke it in a week you’re treating it like shit, simple as that, no wonder they want 10 videos to make sure you’re not just scamming them.
