Best vehicle ever. It’s the perfect vehicle for me. Wouldn’t trade my 4runner for anything. Ford brings back the bronco because off roading is “cool” and trendy again and popular. Toyota has stayed true to off roading with the 4runner and just the entire trd pro lineup and other vehicles. They never left this segment and stayed true to the rugged body on frame suv that every other company abandoned until recently when it’s popular again. Respect to toyota for always staying true to this segment. Plus nothing is more reliable and durable as the 4Runner. I have never had one single issue with my 4runner after all these years.

I think its time for Toyota to really upgrade their 4Runner, especially its engine and transmission. I get it that its current engine is a bullet proof but at the same time its a gas thirsty. I hope Toyota engineers to consider swapping a b58 engine with their 10speed auto (or zf 8speed) that currently being use with their sister company Lexus, LC500. I know its a BMW engine but when it comes to reliability its proven that it can keep up with Toyota standard, which is why its the engine choice for their new A90 Supra. Also the B58 will be use on other off road vehicle such as INEOS Grenadier which is coming soon. So that proves that engine is very capable not just for a sports car but also for big off vehicle. The B58 will have a give better horse power and torque (which is what you need when you going for off roading) while providing better fuel efficiency. I know most people here will disagree with this idea but this is just my opinion that i would like to share. I think most people will like to own if 4Runner will offer a better fuel efficiency.
@baronvonjo19294 жыл бұрын
It still looks amazing and I love it. But it really is time for all your true Trucks and SUVs to receive an update. The 4runner and tundra need better mpg and laying 80,000 dollars on a 10 year old suv is a hard sell. No doubt that since they are so old however they will be crazy reliable for decades.
@mattb96644 жыл бұрын
Toyota won't say it, but I can tell you that the 4Runner handles and drives just as precisely as a little sport SUV on the highway. However, you do need lots of driving experience to have it figured out. Don't listen to the car magazine reviews which say the on-road handling is clumsy.
