I’ve been a RDH since 2005 in PA but I want to move to Florida and I’m trying to take Adex exam soon. I prefer the manekin over real patient. I’m so nervous.

@@daianadanilova6077 yea. It was so much easier than to have to find a patient! I just took it a few wks ago. I think eventually they’re going to switch over to only manekin instead.

I didn't practice... manikin teeth are plastic so they are weak compare to real teeth. Easy to remove their tissue during calculus removal.

I’m currently in the program at this school :). I’m planing to move to Texas after I’m done with school and take the board there. I’m not sure how that’s going to work yet. Do you know any information on going to school at one state and taking the board at a different state? Can you take the board in FL and practice in another state without having to work in FL for a few years?

Yeah it is tricky! Every state has their own rules! I recommend to contact Texas Dental Board and make sure your school is approved by them and all other questions. Florida license doesn’t help me in NY without years of work in Florida

Hey! I go to school in Texas. Texas is currently accepting mannequin exams. You can graduate from a school and take the board on a different state with no problem. Good luck!

It was actually supposed to start at 8 am and finish at 10 am. But with every candidates approval we started at 7 am and, yes, we finished at 9 am.

I made a video fresh after results. It took 5 days including weekend for me to get results. But I think it depends on workload of people checking. I think for some people it was 2 weeks even.
