2020 Audi RS3 8V Sportback with Sport Exhaust | POV NIGHT Drive | Walkaround

Many of you already know that we took delivery of a brand new 2020 Audi RS3 Sportback a few days ago. Our RS3 is finished in the beautiful Ara Blue Crystal Effect color with red contrast stitching in the interior. It also got the optional RS Sport Exhaust fitted. Here is the first video of our brand new sportscar which is a POV night drive in the city. Although this RS3 has got the noise restricted OPF filter fitted, it still sounds really good!
In this video you can listen to a few downshifts, small accelerations and some beautiful 5 cylinder sounds!

De 2017 en 2018 RS3's hebben nog geen OPF filter, dus die klinken heel goed. De 2019 en 2020 RS3's hebben dat wel en bij die auto's moet je eigenlijk wat aan de uitlaat aanpassen om er wat meer geluid uit te krijgen. What was your average fuel consumption?

After driving over 2000km the average fuel consumption is around 10 L/100km (23mpg). But usually when we drive on the highway we get about 8 L/100km (29mpg).

No, this was a few days after delivery. We installed the valve controller a month later.

@@ExoticCarspotters Thanks for the fast response 🙂 This is actually good news because i was afraid that the sound would be much worse... like everyone says. I bet that the valve controller added a lot of sound at low rpm range and when downshifting such as @6:50. Overall, the car still sounds good imo 👍

@@HVN8R Yes exactly, it made quite a big difference at low rpm. And because the car was still brand new it got a bit louder over time. @@ExoticCarspotters Glad to hear that 👍 Lets be honest. There is still a noticable gap between OPF and pre OPF RS3. But overall its not as bad as most people say. Only issue that iam having is that the OPF RS3 tend to make some strange noise near redline. Some sort of high pitched hiss. Is this noticable in "real life" or just in the videos? best regards

Yes, that sound near redline is the biggest problem with the OPF RS3 and it is definitely noticeable in real life. This is also the reason why we installed a catless downpipe/midpipe to remove the OPF.
