An amazing review. This channel deserves so many more views and subs. You talk about all the things that need to be talked about but you’re entertaining! (unlike some other reviewers) Great job!

Looks great. Drove one a few weeks ago at the dealer. I will still say the best N/A v6 I’ve driven is the 3.7 in the Infiniti’s that’s a strong running engine in every vehicle I’ve driven it in.

omg Nolan, that beard is making me sweat thinking of Texas heat and itching. lolol. This would be awesome in AWD and for the bhp the Fuel Economy isn’t bad at all. Lets Decide for the money Loaded Palisade Limited 7 passengers, Avalon 5 passenger looking sleek and very dependable and practicle, or 420bhp Mustang GT Premium Convertable basically 2 passengers. Such a hard choice lol

Obviously Toyota believes that "60 is the new 40." And considering that Avalon buyers have an annoying habit of dying before they purchase another vehicle Toyota desperately wants to lower the average age of Avalon buyers. Add to that the fact that sedan sales, especially so-called "large" mainstream models, are soft and getting softer in the US and it's understandable that Toyota is trying to bolster Avalon sales in ways where the cost doesn't threaten the model's profit margin. As several comments here suggest, there will be complaints that Toyota doesn't offer AWD in the Avalon, especially in the TRD trim. But the reason is simple and mainly for the same reason that Toyota doesn't offer AWD in the V6 Camry. Neither Toyota nor dealers can expect to make money on the tiny slice of buyers who would be willing to pay for the feature. In the case of the Avalon there's the additional factor in that sales of an AWD Avalon would likely come at the expense of Lexus sales. Overall, the Avalon is more and more a vehicle built for the Chinese market where most are sold. Its future in the US is a real question especially in view of the challenges automotive manufacturers face in the 2020 calendar year with a raging COVID-19 virus and the remarkably incompetent response to it in the US.

It was hard to believe they even gave it TRD treatment but like you said, it’s an effort to lower the age an appeal to different buyers with little expense. I’m sure it will be a tiny percentage of Avalon buyers that opt for this trim. I haven’t looked at sales numbers but I’m sure Covid our a huge dent in them lol and probably will continue to do so. Thanks for stopping by sir, have a great week 👍

Prices of vehicles are at the point of silly. Most people can't afford the payments on these. Buy used is the best option IMO. Let someone else pay if off.

They perfected that engine, why take a chance?
@PrimeAutotainment4 жыл бұрын
I love the engine as it is, it’s enough for me. But considering it’s a TRD (that’s the only trim I’d expect more power) and Toyota has pushed out more power and torque in the 3.5 GR engine in multiple Lexus products means they have no problem doing it reliably...but it still didn’t happen
@guniseran4 жыл бұрын
@@PrimeAutotainment they could turbo charged it to get 400+ hp, but then long term reliability suffers, and that's why Toyota does not want to take a chance
@oasisofficial26964 жыл бұрын
Car Craze exactly why take the risk when its plenty enough power? some people may be upset but this car is limited production and the people who buy it know what they’re getting
@Min-lt9ct4 жыл бұрын
that's price tho.. it's definitely expensive as Toyota. $45k could get lexus IS or add little bit more money for Supra.
