Great channel and great review! I'm researching bikes as I move up from my baby Beemer (G310R). I am the same height with old injured knees so your comment on that was very helpful! I'm also looking at the 750GS...

I have the same dilemma, although just in the process of getting my licence :D which did you choose?
@JenniferWasylenko4 жыл бұрын
@@anitaandrensek Hi! I had my G310R for 3 seasons and I really did love it but I did mostly commuting. I liked that it was small and easy to handle. I didn't feel, at the time, that I had the confidence to handle anything bigger. I just switched up to the F750GS and I absolutely LOVE it! It is very comfortable for my knees, it is light enough for me to handle confidently and it has the power I want when riding the country roads with my hubby. I sat on the F900R and found the sitting position to forward with tight knee positioning. The 750GS is actually 853cc engine so it is more powerful than you think!

In reality any bike is a good bike, just be respectful of the machines power because if you don't it can be very unforgiving. That being said usually its smarter to start on something a little smaller but to each their own

I've got one but I don't know if it is good for a first bike, 100 hp feels a bit powerful for a starter - I would recommend the G310R for a couple of years first

Hi from Greece. I am looking for a naked bike for every day commuting and weekend travelling fun in a "comfortable way". I am 48 years old and not experience rider. I currently ride a Bmw G310R. I really like this Bmw and also like the Trident 660. Unfortunately the Bmw here in Greece don't have this model for a test drive. I have seen your videos and i know that you love the Trident. I understand that we are talking about bikes in a different category but they cost almost the same price...So any recommendation would be extremely helpful.

@@Win7ermu7e Better yet, it's developed by both teams, BMW and Loncin, and built and assembled by and at Loncin. 👌 The GS750/850 engines are entirely built by Loncin. No it will not make a dent in the naked bike market. The customer for this bike will be women or someone buying their first bike. 10 out of 10 experienced bike rider’s prefer The 2020 Kawasaki Z900, or MT09
@stolenlaptop4 жыл бұрын
Not saying you don't have a point but experienced riders don't just look at raw HP or 1/4 times. Just because it doesn't run a low 10 in a 1/4 mile with a super experienced racer doesn't make it a bad bike that can't hang. That being said 100 HPish bikes are IMHO far beyond beginner bikes which to me should be 500 or less or the 650's.
@dirkpackwood64094 жыл бұрын
stolenlaptop if both the Z900 and F900r cost the same. Help me understand and tell me why I should buy the BMW F900r over the Z?
@pggp2734 жыл бұрын
The Z900 is probably the most capable all rounded naked machine you can buy. I currently ride a Street triple 675 and I would swap out for a Z900 in a heartbeat if I could afford to buy a new bike.
@stolenlaptop4 жыл бұрын
@@dirkpackwood6409 assuming the same price, performance per dollar you would always pick the z900. As i get older and don't just look at stat sheets anymore style and personal fit matter more to me than a fraction of a second in a quarter mile sprint. Otherwise i would buy a super naked or better yet a used super sport. Like i said, you do have a point and perfomance is always attractive but when you can already go 0 to way too fast in 4 seconds does it matter if it was 3.1 or 3.4 seconds when you lost your license?
@dirkpackwood64094 жыл бұрын
stolenlaptop I’m 52, and I do love low end torque, but 0 to 60 isn’t why I prefer the Z900. I enjoy going on long day trips or weekend get always so having a much larger tank, better riding position, reliability, also parts and maintenance will be less than a bmw. The fact that the overall performance is better, made me choose this bike over the MT09. F900r never came into consideration
