I used this tutorial to re-make a notebook. I took the old shabby cover off a notebook I hadn't used and made a new cover as a gift for my step-father's birthday. He was thrilled to get a personalised notebook. Thank you, Sherry.

I love your work, I have been going through depression. You lifted my spirits. You have inspired me to get up and get busy. I normally make baskets with boxes. Your words that you use make me laugh. The little saying you add to your projects inspire me. I love your nail polish color. I am happy you spoke up about respect. You are the BOMB!!!! Thank you again.

You are what I’ve been looking for a long time. All I kept finding was junk journals. I can’t understand the purpose of those. But sure there is one because many people love & make them. I’m looking for gifts for all my adult children & grandchildren. Even guys if I can figure out how to make them useful & masculine. Any ideas? Got to get started because I’m slow at 80, lol, but still like handmade gifts. Love your work, style n voice. Just found u today. Y, because I’m on here every day.

Those are so cute! What a great ideal. I need to made my granddaughter a book. She is 6 but loves to draw and is learning to write. She loves planner books because mom uses them. She could even put stickers on them. Another ideal for me is my daughter works with homeless people and she mention how she wishes she could give journal books and pens to some to write their journey down. It would be great to make her some to hand out.

Good morning Sherry. Your right, there is no right or wrong, as long as it works. I’ve never seen a technique like this. I want to try it. It’s amazing, cause I don’t have the right tools to make a journal. Sherry you truly are a craft magician.🥰🌻
@ThePoshPaperLady5 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much Carmen! I’m a big believer in making it work; even when it goes against “traditional techniques”. All you need is glue, board and paper(no fancy tools)…can’t get any simpler than that. Give it a try...you will love it, and they are addicting! HAPPY CRAFTING!!

I spend so much on journals this was a great Video. Going to start making watercolor journals. When I was watching there is only one thing that would make these the very best and that is to add a ribbon for a bookmark. Ribbon is one commodity we all have, I'm sure, in abundance. Love love your tutorials. Just finished the card holder using graphic 45 it turned out so pretty. So glad I found your channel. And I agree about the Facebook thing. I love watching stuff on KZbin that I can learn from. Yeah there are so many people out there that do great things with a stamp, they are wonderful colorist, but give me a channel like your's where it is making something from scratch and I'm all for it. Thank you so very much you are amazing.

Elmers is good for rip away pages. I’ve done that with my order forms. I used cardboard from legal pads and glued my order forms to it. We had an old book clamp from many years ago. We are an old family business over 200 years. So I used to make my own order pads with elmers. I got some reptile glue and I’m going to try making my own journal using my own designed pages!!! With reptile glue of course! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
