It’s as easy or as difficult as you want to make it! Def easier for me to use once I learned to back off on the set ups/ decorations 😂

This setup video is super super helpful! I have gotten overwhelmed with all the fancy artsy spreads for bullet journals that I see people making now, and I want to get back to basics with simple tasks lists. Your method has some additions that would be very helpful for me - I've never really used the index but I see now how useful it could be! And I love your way of doing the line to encompass the collection info on a daily page and then index it. Also the symbols you use to mark things just clicks in my head. I just ordered a Stalogy notebook but the A5 version because I kinda want to try using it like your Hobonichi cousin with the journaling on the right side of the page and I tend to write a lot each day. I discovered the Hobonichi too late in the year to get a dated one but the Stalogy seemed like it could work! Plus I've never tried that thin type of paper so it'll be an adventure. Maybe I'll be get back into fountain pens again! :) looking forward to more of your videos they are fun to watch, useful & helpful for figuring out a functional planner system! (haha so you can see how I tend to write a lot, like my little essay of a comment here haha! Oops)

Thanks for sharing. I am planning on using an a6 size next year and I'm truly minimalist in my style. A lot of great ideas here that I can apply to my own journal a6 size journal.

Never seen the A6 size so thank you! I’m brand new to your channel so I needed to let you know that I thought your vocal tone and speech pattern is perfect for KZbin! You do a fabulous job with explaining but not over explaining and not getting silly with your videos. That is something I appreciate as a busy professional. I also want to compliment you on the ring on your left hand side which I believe is your engagement ring it’s absolutely gorgeous and you have beautiful fingers! :-) Rock on with your bad self! Consider me a new loyal subscriber! :-)

Lindsey, I just discovered you and I really like how streamlined your system is! What do your symbols in your bullet journal and trackers mean? And also what pen do you write with so there is no smearing? So glad I found your channel! New subbie here! Thank you for the inspiration! :)
@lindseyscribbles4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! My pen should be linked in the description box - it’s a Uni Jetstream ballpoint pen and my ride or die at this point. I’d probably have to do a quick video to really explain my key - but it’s pretty simple. X marks complete, a dote for notes, heart for memories, open circle for personal events / appointments, open square for work meetings.

lindseyscribbles thank you for replying and explaining your symbols. What do the >> marks mean? And the double check marks? Sorry for all the questions but I like your symbols more than the “regular” bujo symbols that I’ve been using. They seem easier to glance through quickly. 😍
@lindseyscribbles4 жыл бұрын
The double arrows is how i show something moved forward to the next day, or I moved it back to my monthly or my weekly spread if I don’t think I can do that task the next day! Hope that makes sense!
@catnipstudio4 жыл бұрын
@@lindseyscribbles Yes! Perfect sense :) One last question: what do the double checkmarks mean? Sorry for all the Q's... but I am inspired and curious :)

Completed task! I just don’t like single check marks - they look lonely
