Got this bike and I’m loving it. Everything you said here is spot on. I’m looking at doing the same upgrades. Good advice.

Hi, I have a bulls e bike too and believe I lost my battery key in transit by leaving the key in the battery key hole. Wondering when you insert the key, turn it, then push and battery pops off. If i were to leave the key in that position can it fall out or do you have to reverse turn the key for it to be pulled out? Trying to figure out if it’s lost in transit or just misplaced as I’ve looked everywhere

Sorry, d bang. The key turn is spring loaded. So after you open the battery latch with the key, it would return to the position that would allow the key to fall out if it were jostled hard enough.

I bought mine dec 2019. My dislikes on the bike. I had crank problems just like you on the Marinda brand. I went through 3 cranks until Bulls sent me a different brand of cranks Suntour then my problems stopped. The brakes constantly made noise vibration like until they were applied that drove me nuts listening to that. Turned out to be those thin Storm rotors from Magura. I changed them with some $10 rotors from Amazon and that problem went away. That dropper cable post routing sucks I didn't see it as minor issue as you. I had same idea just another small hole and 1 more zip tie but bike shop says that voids warranty on frame. I just got 5 zip ties around the thing to stop it from rubbing. I feel they should have selected a thicker heavier tire casing since this is a ebike minor compliant. I think the battery lock action is odd something simpler would be nice more of a suggestion than a compliant on that though I did have 1 lock mech fail in 3 months. I also agree with the fit it was a bit odd I went through two stems and 1 handlebar before I figured out where the bars should be. My first Bulls ebike I had no issues except for the junky tires and it had an odd lock placement.

Great review! Thanks for laying out all the little quirks and features. I’m looking into getting into a Bulls E-Stream Evo AM4 in the very near future. Any input why you went with AM3 over AM4? Also, a follow up review after a few months ownership would be helpful! Thanks for posting this video!

josaboy I'll work on a full follow-up review. Still really enjoying the bike and I absolutely love how forgiving the 27.5+ tires are. I easily fixed the seat post cable routing issue that I brought up in the video and I have just been riding it ton ever since. I have never once gotten close to depleting the battery on a ride. I could easily use as much as assistance I as I want to the 50 mile mark. I don't know how much more I would appreciate the AM4 over my AM3, but I would have bought the AM4 if the frame size was available at the time. I'm a 205lb rider and the AM4 has a bigger rear rotor.

Any updates on the dropper tube cable? I’m having the same issue and Bulls has been no help
@lazy-pilot3 жыл бұрын
Hi Andy, I ended up drilling a small, about 1/8” hole in the frame/shock-shield so I could then use a small zip-tie to secure the cable away from rubbing on the shock. If you do the same I recommend keeping the hole small and at least 1/4” away from the edge of the frame to ensure it doesn’t crack near the new hole. I’ve put many miles and beatings on my frame since the fix and I have no worries that it has compromised the frame.

are they tubeless tires?
@lazy-pilot4 жыл бұрын
Yes. They are tubeless ready tires and wheels, so they came with tubes but it was a quick and easy conversion. I had the dealer that took delivery of my bike perform the conversion before I picked it up; in addition to the other upgrades I performed like the shorter stem and carbon 35mm bars.
