I think keeping the design for 6-10 years with little updates from time to time gives it a value somehow, unlike those who releases a new car, you buy it and after 6 months an all new generation is released!!

Yes it needs a redesign. Not much different than my 2016 RT. The lease ended a few months ago. Because they are basically the same design for 2020, I ended up getting a 2019 Ram Laramie Sport. Yes, they need a new redesign

I like this car, it’s design is nice, but some updated headlights would be great along with a whole interior redesign. The interior has been the same since 2014

In my opinion it does need a redesign i say nothing too major but since i have a base 17 SXT with very little options i think i will be upgrading to a 20 GT or RT unless a redesign is in the works then i will wait

Love the Durango, but damn when you start looking at the new SUV's coming into the market, the interior looks antiquated. This is the same interior as my 2013 Ram 1500 Laramie. Needs a better screen and layout. The body is always on fire, but that interior looks so old.
@tone126824 жыл бұрын
If the 5.7 or higher had better mpg then they would fly off the lot.. The gt is the happy medium between sxt and up with exterior and interior functions. People will forever scream more power but quietly weep at the gas station 3 times a week at $50 a fill up. Throw a ripp supercharger on that gt and it will do rt numbers and increase the mpg. If u want a decent size suv but not looking for anything fancy as a daily the gt is where its at. If u want power u cant legally use unless u go to the track get the srt or hellcat...😒🏁😂
@mikeross49374 жыл бұрын
First, it doesn't look like they make a supercharger for anything after 2015. Second, it's like 6K for one of those, why not just upgrade to the R/T?
@tone126824 жыл бұрын
@@mikeross4937 me personally i wouldn't get it for speed. Nice looking mopar with the space and mostly the gas savings. I have 2 other rides i can focus on that need for speed. But truthfully all of these cars are overpriced.. They make too many and rot away on a lot.

@@tone12682 I am going to get a Durango most likely. It checks all boxes for me. I know that the Highlander, Pilot, and other Japanese brands are more reliable but they are too small. I am just waiting for the price to drop.

What’s up with FCA not redesigning there products they’re literally selling the same car every year and calling it new lol
@ncstate2205 жыл бұрын
FCA needs to consider stop pushing out all these trims and editions and XYZ and focus on that reliability and dependability.... having your trans go out while driving isn't what people pay.... All Man, have issues but FCA drops the ball.... great interior but it means nothing if the vehicle is always in the shop.... you can cover sh*t up with glitter but underneath it's still sh*t... FCA won't redesign them cause people are still stupid enough to still purchase them, even with all their issues

Because FCA still sells 2+ million a year of their paid off car designs. And they have put out 16 new models the past 6 years.

As a person who rents lots of cars for work purposes I have rented the Durango and in general for $55,000 plus no great sound system or apple CarPlay unless you upgrade 1000$ HALOGEN headlamps on a almost 60,000$ dodge this is not acceptable that LED headlights are standard on a 16,000$ Corolla and HID are a option but again 1600$ with other few options. Interior light again no LED courtesy lightning. Disappointed. Over a 1100$ a month lease these are all Canadian prices of course.

I have a 2021 model for the week while my Highlander hybrid is getting fixed from a fender bender. This truck is fast and comfortable and handles very well. But, it's not Japanese so I'd never completely trust it.
