@@cpgaming911 wouldnt bother with the whole cai kit, too pricey not enough return. The air raid jr kit is to clean up the engine bay, a little more intake noise. Stock truck is good, whipple best

Hey man i did the same muffler as you. You need to get the 10416 magnaflow its just a resonator style it sounds amazing little louder than what you have.

I have a slightly used less than (100 miles) Magnaflow 12259 5” x 8” x 18” for sale. Let me know if you are interested. It is louder than your 12279

You could try leaving that muffler on and remove the resonator. Or wait till the magnaflow breaks in before you go louder.

Have you seen any mpg increase with the intake tube?

Not noticeable.. -although going to 33”tire its off. Still can get 20 mpg if nice and doing 60. Best was 22.5 previous with regular stock tires same speed Its good

I just cut off the muffler and left resonator. I welded in a piece of pipe where muffler was of course and that sounds loud but not to loud. It sounds mean.

hey by chance did you do a size comparison between the stock muffler and this one? i’d like something nice and quiet for mine but the long tube headers are noisy, i like the way yours sounds

Did you have it in tow haul mode just to change the shift pattern so it would rev higher before the shift?

No actually its sport mode, but tow haul works well also
