The hybrid looks quicker then the 1.5 3 cylinder ecoboost. I test drove a 2020 1.5 se yesterday. I loved the interior but I strongly disliked the engine. It only accelerates with traffic if you bury the throttle.

The hybrid is definitely quicker than the 1.5, but the 1.5 is still a good base engine!

The back armrest squeaked! 😫this car seems cheap on the inside, especially compared to the competition. The door panels, etc...I can't believe they were ok with this, especially in 2020. They must have really old ppl on their teams or give hella bonuses to whomever can cut corners, I mean cost!

Why is it still so difficult for manufactures to have blind spot mirrors included? They price in blind spot monitoring which is only good for collision avoidance, but driver still has to turn around his head to see for safe lane changing, what a reckless nonsense in 2020

You should always should check regardless of if you have blind spot monitoring. Safety features are not supposed to replace good driving habits but augment them.

How about some commentary. What happens if I am going cross country at 75 mph and I have depleted my battery bank? Will the onboard motor/generator keep up with demand or does it become a sluggish vehicle at this time?

With all hybrids, the gas engine kicks on to regenerate the battery, it's never sluggish and operates just fine!
