2020 Ford Escape Test Drive Video Review

I have a 2020 Ford Escape SE in black a little bit over 5 weeks already. I even test drove it before in getting it. I didn’t know anything about the interior at all. I loved the design of the exterior. It took me a short time on the controls on it. It handles like a car more than a SUV. My last vehicle was a 2015 Ford Escape SE in silver grey. That vehicle broke down and died on me just after getting uphill about a 1/2 mile away from my apartment. I called the dealership on a tow which they don’t have and they gave me a phone number for this tow company near them. I had to wait for a hour for the tow truck. He thought that I was in this other town across the street of this on BP gas station. I told the tow company that I was on another road and was across the street from BP in this one town that I lived in.

I have the hybrid version. There’s no compromise with this drivetrain...real world 39mpg for an awd raised hatchback is pretty amazing. I think it should be the standard drivetrain and ditch the 1.5L.

It's a pretty car. I own one with the same paint and wheel options as this one. I love it. Fun and practical to own and drive as well

the 1.5L should get about 35 mpg hwy. I was looking at one at the dealer a few days ago. Back seat legroom is great. Even with the rear seat back, still a lot of cargo room. Definitetly wider inside than the previous Escape. Think Ford could have done more with the exterior styling though. Looks very bland. They could have given it an edgier design.

That is what the Lincoln Corsair is for but it is a lot more expensive and no hybrid versions.

Terrible-looking front end redesign. From the front, it looks like an old Mazda 3 with a learning disability. The back looks great.
