The 2019 tailgate looks bold and tough with the large ford emblem. The 2020 looks dinky with an emblem suitable for a Ford Taurus. Who conducted the focus group on this back tailgate? Guess they got the Prius group mixed up with the superduty group. I do like the front end on the 2020 though.

Also I have a 19 350 leveled and 35s with custom wheels, I tow a 30 enclosed trailer with a foot extra height. Truck does amazing! A bunch of bull lowering the super duty due to towing. They are shooting them selves in the foot!

I saw the F250 and F350 side by side at Sunstate Ford in Orlando and the F350 SRW diesel 4x4 was lower than the same model F250. I was surprised.

Ford told me that both the f250 and f350 were lowered on the 2020 model half an inch on the front and a inch and a half on the back but I don’t know about the f450

@Mjones, I think the f250 you were looking at was higher than that f350 because the higher the trim, the bigger the tires.

At one point I remember reading that during focus groups folks were saying that they didn’t like the difference in the gap between the wheel wells and the tires. So Ford lowered it by 2 inches in the rear and an inch in the front. I figured what they did at that point was say.... “You know what, let’s leave the ride height at 2 inches taller on a truck and call it something different and sell that as a package!!!!”

J P if you get a 2017-2019 just remove the 2 inch lift blocks from the rear axle and you will have no issues with your 5th wheel, that’s what many have done, this is usually is only necessary with older 5th wheels, most manufacturers of 5th wheels have recognized this and are producing their 5th wheels to accommodate newer vehicles, I have a 2020 F350 srw, just picked it up on the 17th, first thing I did was back it into my 5th wheel, it’s perfect, Ford has lowered their 2020’s, I have the FX4 package, my particular truck is 17/8 of an inch lower than my 2018 f350srw, both FX4’s, hope this helps

My 2019 has the snow plow package which sits about 1” higher in the front end than the standard front springs do. So my truck is probably around 1 1/2 “ higher for both front & back than a standard 2020. Now if I put a 2 1/2” Readylift leveling kit in mine then I am 4” taller in front & 1 1/2’ taller in the back.
