2020 freightliner cascadia transmission issues.

Check all your speed sensors in every wheel , if they have broken bushing they will slip out , than the computer will transmit the wrong informations to transmission that is why it acts strangely. Or if the speed sensors are bad . That is exactly what it was going in with my truck and I had faulty speed sensors on the steering tires . Never had any codes , but my mechanic got the diagnostic and repairs correct and never had such problems again

Oh that's great! I took mine to freightliner to fix it and they couldn't figure it out. Thanks for your input :)

New transmission, I tried new clutch, air leaks, new batteries, and dealership wants me to spend thousands to change several parts on the transmission it would take about 3 weeks, but a new transmission on my 3 to four days it depends if they have in stock

Yeah that sounds like the "hoops" I was going to jump through in order to get that issue fixed. It's pretty frustrating and expensive

My problem was in the quantity control valve plug the plug was bad. Even a bad fuel pump can cause this problem otherwise bad clutch or the actuator. Park your truck neutral and accelerate it to max if the truck loses RPM it means you have a bad fuel pump or the quality control valve otherwise you have to change ur clutch and actuator.

Sorry for the delayed response, I didn't think I'd get any comments. I took it into a freightliner shop to have them fix it. They said a bunch of stuff was wrong and we paid for them to fix it. We missed 2 weeks of pay for them to not fix the issue. I still have no clue what was going on, but I am no longer trucking. Sorry I don't have any answers

If it's water in system will do that as well happened to me before most drivers don't empty there air tank and water will set and cost big issues rust in line and more I know it's not 1970 anymore things got better but still water can be in air tank easier

@juanrosariofx nope I never did. Freightliner claimed they "fixed it" but the problem persisted. Not sure what the exact problem was. Sorry for no answer for you

No idea. I took it to a freightliner shop and they couldn't fix the problem.
