For those asking, I temporarily shut down the streetlight by tricking the sensor to think it’s day by shining the first beam on it for a few seconds. Now that I worked out the timing, it’s an ongoing trick I like to incorporate every show 😂

The impressiveness of this show is the fact that the entire house appears to be effectively a giant LED wall; or at least some really great software engineering to make it appear that way. While simultaneously appearing to be a more traditional light setup. The synchronized lighting effects that span the house, the candy canes, the gutters, and the tree are quite incredible.

Nope its actually very cheap the tree actually uses the least amount of power than the rest b/c a pixie controller only uses like 7 volts of something while a plug in is like 140 I think

Based on the datasheet on his website the beams consume around 350 Watts each (230W lamp with mechanical shutter). Combined, not a lot more than an average electric heater. The LED's will be at least a few hundered watts too.

Looks like something like a Falcon F48 or F16v3 controller from www.pixelcontroller.com/store/index.php . FPP running on an RPI v3, WS2811 pixels from Ray Wu or other Aliexpress vendor www.aliexpress.com/store/701799 . The trees look like they are from Boscoyo boscoyostudio.com/ also maybe their Chromatrim. Lighting sequencing done in xlights. I may be wrong but with those you could create a similar display, xlights has some great text to light voice stuff(kinda a pain lining up the words sometimes). My question would be 5V or 12V, there is a correct answer LOL (In the lighting display community there is a lot of argument about using 5v or 12v pixels, the difference is 5v needs more power injection but cheaper where 12v you can get away with longer runs without injection) If you are actually interested in how this is done behind the scenes I would suggest kzbin.info/door/XVmdAdDtjZrvZVEIbfaZCg (Learn Christmas Lighting) or kzbin.info/door/by1v6Kbi8AHMkV2yMyF1MQ (Canispater Christmas) also looks like he(Tom BetGeorge) has his own company and site magicallightshows.com/ which includes some xlights tutorials and services/sales

@@hunterjones1310 Well, it takes place on Christmas, the people are having a Christmas party saying "Merry Christmas", Bruce came to see his family for Christmas and brought pressants for them, he dressed up a dead guy as Santa, he used Christmas decorations as weapons, his wife is named Holly, they play "Let It Snow" at the end, etc. Besides, there's a lot of Christmas/Action movies, so why can't this be 1 of them?

My 4 year old loves this video so much! He watches it almost every night. We've literally seen it like 600 times. Also any time anyone speaks about someone named Doug, he is quick to tell them that Doug is a Christmas tree on a house on KZbin 🤣 Thank you for sharing this.

Thanks... just...ughhh..... I am taking down all of my decorations. How am I supposed to compete with this? This was AMAZING! Got me thinking "Heck yeah, I am gunna do this" then I realize I can't do any of that. Nevet felt so excited and defeated at the same time. In all setiousness, great work friend. Truly amazing.
