I am happy to have found your channel. I live in Washington state. Same zone. Already I have some ideas in adding to my yard. Pergola has been one on my list. Garden boxes. I need to buy a few tools. The stain, love that. I am telling my daughter, I am not sure if they treated her new garden box. They had a wonderful vegetables this year in Port Orchard. A few miles from my home.

Cassandra Smith - I’ve done things to the inside of my home since I moved in 10 years ago. And I’ve considered doing a tour but unfortunately my home was remodeled (probably more than once) prior to my husband buying it. So no doubt a lot of the original built-in wood work (if any existed) was removed. And that is so sad because I love all that old wood characteristics that old homes have, and it’s gone. 😢 but, it’s still a beautiful home. So perhaps I’ll consider doing a video of inside my home. But next video is the chicken coop 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Jscursions I understand! I didn’t have many original features to work with either although they did leave a few. But you can still see the quality and beauty in these old homes just by the layouts and grandness of spaces such as dining rooms. Transports you back to a time when people took time to spend time with one another. So yes consider it because I think a lot of people would love it too🥰 And I am waiting patiently on the coup tour😊

This was the most satifying beautiful tour of your yard... there was so much to see and enjoy... I luv all of your plants and it's many areas... you might try mixing 1/4 cup dawn soap with 2 full cup of water to spray the leaves of your plants that the slugs eat, they do not like the taste of that and it always works for me... thank you for sharing your beautiful happy space with us... much luv

Eli Hugs, Yes. I have 2 videos on building planter box 1 & 2. However, I didn’t video the framing or placing of the corrugated metal because I just wanted to get it done and not bore my subscribers with yet another building of the boxes. But do have some regrets on that choice. But perhaps I’ll do that when I film making another planter box. Thx for asking, watching and more importantly your support in my channel. Thx you!! ❤️🌷🌹💕

What kind of advice do you have about the butterfly bush plant?

Corell Cormier, I really don’t do anything for mine. I have the one that’s very old and the younger smaller one and outside of occasionally watering them, I don’t do anything else. I guess my advise would be: Don’t over water and don’t plant them in direct sun. You’ll know if you’re over or under watering if the leaves get looking dry or turn like yellow in color. Then give them a good watering. Otherwise, let them be. 👏🏼😀👍😎
