Loved hearing your story today. I’ve been with you guys since 2017. My husband of 28 years had died in December 2016. He and I both were avid gardeners and even worked in the industry for years. For an entire year I couldn’t garden. Grief would just overtake me and I just couldn’t do it because everywhere I looked I saw him. Of course, my garden became overridden with weeds and vines and things died from lack of care and water. Then in 2017 I accidentally found you on KZbin. I began watching sweet little Laura in her garden. The next spring of 2018 you gave me what I needed to get my butt out in that garden and start cleaning it up. You gave me my Joy back. The joy of gardening. The healing power of gardening. I don’t believe in coincidences. I believe that God has his hand on everything. He knew what I needed and He gave it to me through you. Thank you.

My heart goes out to you. Same thing happened to me but 2018. In 2022, I started restoring my garden again. Hurricanes destroys.. But I overcome and continue to clean it out and replant. I am determined to make dreams come true. I learn from the ants in the garden. They build and rebuild. They don't give up. 2023 & 2024 I worked hard to restore. Watching this channel gave me strength to tackle all the obstacles in the garden. This video is just perfect... A blessing! Love yall❤

The allure to your channel (for me) is the fact that your content is not contrived but just real. We can all relate to your failures because we all have them. You’re not trying to be perfect or showy. Your successes are satisfying to all of us if I can speak for others. I’ve learned so much from you, and it has helped me improve my garden.

I used to be fixated on HGTV years ago when they had all the garden shows on each week. When they slowly eliminated the garden shows and replaced with home renovations, in my opinion, it ruined that channel. Thank goodness for KZbin that provide us so many great channels to choose from. Garden Answer is one of my favorites, that I love so much.

Oh BOY…I was so happy you didn’t speak about COVID. I was working in the ICU and entering single file every day into the hospital having a laser shot at my forehead. Bagging patients like crazy. I would come home feeling like the world had stopped like an apocalypse had hit. I would watch your channel. Life was blooming and the sun was shining, plants were growing. You became my anchor back into the normal world filled with hope!! ❤ Not sure what I would have done without your videos. Plus your videos somehow brought other creators that popped up because I watched you. Like Brenda Grant, Arms family homestead etc. and the single thread in their videos was faith! So I really felt Gods presence walk into my life. Plus on the first day at work Father Steve that March 2020 gave me communion and he has continued that since. That first day I prayed all the way to work for God to walk with me and there was father Steve waiting for me. Then your videos etc.. it all was truly a blessing! Keeping me connected to a world where life flourished again.❤

My comment is not about gardening and instead is about your comments about having Benjamin and not feeling that rush the minute he was born. I felt the same way but never expressed it because women are made to feel they are supposed to be everything to everybody.I also had a catnapper like Benjamin. My daughter would take 20 to 30 minute catnaps. Having a child is a wonderful, amazing thing, but it's also the most exhausting thing we ever do in our lives. Thank you for speaking up about it and making women realize they need to stop being so hard on themselves. Your garden is absolutely beautiful and you have helped me get through a hard time in my life recently.Thank you.

What an amazing video at just the perfect time for me. You talk about how doors closed and doors open - I would call this God’s providential timing. My husband passed away early Sunday morning and I’ve been looking back at all our memories and noting God’s work in every aspect of our life. I’m the kind of person that has learned to notice those things in the moment - because over the years God has blessed us tremendously as He led us thru several huge medical issues with family. You were the only KZbin subscription that I’ve been able to watch over this last difficult week. You and Aaron are such a blessing to all of us. Not only is your content so motivating, but you model what it is to be a good partnership and parents even when your personalities are different. You talk through how you each compromise and support each other and are so authentic. So many do not come from home lives where they see that modeled - and you give that as well. I believe you have been blessed because you are shining a light into the world which makes us all just a little better.

You are so gracious to share this personal side of your lives. Your families are a joy to watch. Everyone talks about "the American Dream" but yet when people achieve it, it's held against them: "privileged" - when in reality it is strong work ethic, working long hours and multiple jobs and a bit of "luck".

Pausing here at 37.07 (I don't know how to make it so it links to the correct part of the video) to say, first of all, thank you for talking so openly about your early miscarriage (I am so sorry) and post-partum experience with Benjamin!! and second, I remember very distinctly when he was first born being amazed that you were getting back to creating content so quickly, and thinking how tough it must have been to have to make that choice when you may have wanted to spend the first 3 months simply bonding with him. I know the business doesn't/didn't run without you creating content, but I was and remain amazed by your ability to manage through that period. And regarding creating "boring" or repetitive content in the winter: I am pretty sure I speak for most of your audience, we are here for the window you allow us into your day, even if it's boring. To get to spend time "with" you outside or in the greenhouse, at the beginning or middle of a busy workday in corporate America, is a treat, no matter what you're up to. For those of us gardeners who can't spend time on their favorite thing each day, it's a taste of what we love, and we'll be here for it, even if you start seeds for 20 days in a row this winter!

I'm glad you mentioned the "must be nice" attitude some commenters have that assume the life you two have built must have been handed to you. That resentful, entitled attitude some people have is the obstacle they have placed for themselves. You graciously outlined that getting married, getting a job, working hard, not taking on debt (after learning your lesson with the vehicles), and setting your priorties is how youachieve success. Great job! I've been following along since before Benjamin and still love your channel!

Laura & Aaron, congratulations on your 10-year anniversary! What an incredible milestone, and your success is so well-deserved. Delving into this world myself four years ago, I’ve come to truly appreciate how much hard work goes into it-especially while balancing a full-time job and creating content. I began gardening while healing from postpartum. Gardening is so therapeutic, and as you said, you don't know what it is but the first time your hands touch that soil and you put a plant in ground, you are just hooked. Thank you so much for featuring my garden in your viewers' gardens series a couple of years back. It was such an honor to see my garden on your channel. Pretty much from the beginning, it was like you were just talking to a friend standing with you on your patio. Thank you for taking us back to the beginning. Thanks to Proven Winners for believing In you. They chose the best, and I'm sure they know that. Because of your channel I look for only proven winners plants. I copy a lot of what you do but on a much smaller scale. Om another note: It's snowing in the South. Central Georgia is a blanket of snow this morning. Temps will be holding below freezing so it will hang around a few days. Traffic at a stand still. We just don't do snow very well here tho it isn't uncommon to get snow every few years. It's really pretty out. Red birds are out at the feeders. Husband made sure all were full. Red birds gathered on a shrub with no leaves. the snow in background makes for a beautiful photo. Gonna try and capture one of those scenes today.Prayers for all in SoCal.

Like many, I came across your channel during Covid while we were working on renovating a century home. I read some comments and someone said that they watched your videos every morning with a cup of tea and I thought what a pleasant and peaceful way to start one’s day, so I’ve been doing that ever since. Sometimes my husband will say, have you watched Laura yet?, and he’ll watch with me. I’m a master gardener, but had not been gardening for several years as we had downsized and moved to our cottage where we didn’t have a garden for various reasons. After getting into the rhythm of watching your videos, I soon realized how much I missed gardening and now I am full steam ahead with our “new” property, so thank you for the inspiration! I’d also like to say, that the instructional part of your videos have given me more confidence and motivation to do certain things that I might not have bothered taking the time to research, so thank you for that too!

Thank you for the joy you share with everyone. P.S. I turned 80 last June.

I recently heard that KZbin channels usually have a 10 year life span. Garden answer has an incredible following- do you have any concerns about this or are you full steam ahead?! It’s my favorite way to start my day and my 2 yr old asks “what’s Laura doing?”. Thank you for all your inspiration, encouragement and sharing your space!

Here’s to another 10 years! I started watching the channel when you were still in the townhouse shortly before the move. I remember watching the 3 urn challenge or something like that. I know part of the appeal is you just garden and make things pretty and don’t fall into the trappings of “like and subscribe .” I never feel like I’m being sold something. Gardening is therapeutic to me, so watching someone garden, even if it’s on a totally different scale than I do and with much greater skill, has a similar effect. Congratulations on all of your successes!

As a viewer I think it most useful to you, to express what's most interesting about your channel for me. I do come to you for respite & recharging and your channel has been a haven both through Covid & my husband's cancer. That said, my FAVORITE episodes are your garden tours focusing on new varieties & what you consider the best garden plants (Proven Winners has proven to do equally well in my garden), glorious BIG tree planting (jealous), antiquing especially with your mom & with Monica, the Andrews garden center plant hauls & new deliveries, renovations & seasonal/holiday decorating. Thank you for ALL of it! Your channel has been informative, inspirational & a much needed vacation from the cares of life. You definitely have helped my sanity & garden abilities improve these last few years! THANK YOU!

Faith, Belief, and HARD WORK can take you a long way! You have created a positive world and learning experience for those of us that had no clue about gardening but had a desire to try. You have helped many other businesses in their desire to succeed. How many times have you used products that you mention, just to have your viewers go crash their websites, because they too wanted what Laura was using? Showing viewers your compassion and desire for your hometown community. Giving to them to help make someone elses day a little brighter. Im sure the children at the organization you have worked with, and the nursing home that you deliver flowers to, appreciate your time and giving nature. Congratulations on all your accomplishment and desire to be succeed! I will be here till the day you say you're done, but I will rewatch the videos just to learn again something new!

Congratulations to your ten plus years with you Garden Answer. I like indoor plants. I was looking around for organic container gardening. Just to grow a head of lettuce or something, I'll enjoy eating. Instead of purchasing from the local grocery stores. Your videos were easy to understand for a beginner like me. Understanding an annual plant versus a perinnial! How to fertilize and what organic products to use. My first video was of you showing us Benjamin's nursery room and you setting up before you get the professionals to come and paint. Time has gone by so fast. You all have grown so much. Whenever you introduce a new outdoor plant to us, I'm always tempted to just purchase one of them. You and I love plants with unique and beautiful foliage. Thank you for your content. Thank you for being persistent. Most of my elderly family had passed away. Your entire family has filled in the gap. Never knew gardening brought so much joy. Working on outside planting soon. An extension of loving indoor planting. Im alone but never lonely. God bless all of you and the team.

This was so great! I found your channel in 2016 & it’s so funny you mention Casey Neistat, I used to watch him everyday.. and somehow one of your videos came across my YT feed one day & cliche as it is, the rest is history. I just immediately fell in love with your content. & with your happy, inspiring personality. I remember binge watching videos from previous years & It reignited my love of gardening. I hadn’t had my own place to live for a few years and was living with my sister and I just tore into her yard and started planting a flower bed & I loved every minute of it. I watch every single morning & it just brings me so much joy. You were my escape from the politics. The negative news cycles. Covid. Etc. you’ve always been a place for me to relax and just enjoy that moment of the day but more importantly that joy and inspiration you give held on and I do have my own house now (2 years now) & I’ve developed quite a few garden beds out back and I LOVE IT. I don’t know that I would be doing it if it hadn’t have been for you and your infectious energy and joy you give everyday. When you talked about you feeling like life is good and you aren’t so worried about making things bigger and better (or something along those lines) I can 💯 percent tell in your videos this past year. There is a difference in you and you seem so much more at ease and happier than before and you seem more open and willing to share more than before & I just adore you. Your entire family. It seems so weird to feel so close or attached to someone you’ve never met in person but you guys are like very close friends or family in my eyes and it has been just the best experience to see you grow and develop into this amazing YT star and grow and develop your business and your family. Your children are the most precious things & I think you are a fantastic mother & teacher! The world is a much better place because you are in it Laura & Aaron & I’m proud to have been a small part of this & I will forever watch whatever you put out. You bring me happiness & that’s all that matters to me. Thank you for sharing it with us. 😊♥️

I once owned a service business with a sister-in-law and every year we reinvested in the business and it was one of the best business decisions we made. You are very wise to reinvest in your business otherwise you will pay taxes and someone else will be using your hard earned dollars! Plus the value of what you own increases tenfold! Keep it up and look forward to seeing the progress of Garden Answer in 2025. God bless you and your entire family which includes your wonderful mom and dad, Monicas and other family members we have met through your videos!

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this video! I canceled my tv provider almost three years ago and started watching KZbin and haven't looked back. I, like others, was a big HGTV fan, and as they got out of the gardening shows, I started to lose interest. I was so excited to find your channel and eventually other ones that I have enjoyed and that have inspired me to finally do more gardening myself. I am so happy for your success and look forward to the future watching you share your beautiful family and gardens with us. Congratulations! ❤

I absolutely love the fact that you bring your families into the channel in an authentic way. They are part of your life and should be part of the channel but you are not making the videos pushing the ideal "family life" according to your religious or political beliefs. You are just being real and your family is being real. I also love that you don't discuss religion or politics to try and sensationalize videos for financial gain. You both have always been true to your values and purpose and very honest with your audience and I truely believe that is why the channel has had such good staying power. I have always gardened but found your channel during covid in 2020, and now I watch every video and have learned so much. Its just so inspiring to see how close you all are because my family is also close and it is very relatable, and you can see you are very thankful for your opportunities and have been true to the channel purpose. Thanks and cheers to another 10 years !

I keep thinking about your comment that you both grew up in stable homes (not financially rich) but stable. Makes such a difference (in my opinion) for a child to have that foundation, giving them the opportunity to be successful in the choices they make along the way and into their adulthood. Love your channel. Thank you for your transparency.
