Looks like a smaller X6. Kinda nice. And damn, that color. I so wish that our national cars will have much more sophisticated and cool ass colors like this. I like how Geely is thinking so so far ahead of the market. Fairly new company, but the strides they have made so far is astounding! Compared to locally-run Proton 😐

In KSA we call this car Tugella And if you visit Riyadh and stop at a traffic light you'll see there's Tugella between 2 Tugellas.. they're everywhere and their reputation is good with our climate and roads.. I hope they bring this color to KSA and also give it more power and blind spot alert

I think you can ask your colleagues to test geely's two sedan models: geely Bin Rui and geely xingrui. Bin Rui as c-segement sedan is cheaper than Bin Yue (Proton x50) in China, and xingrui's price is similar to geely Boyue (Proton x70), and it also uses a 2.0t engine and cma platform, which are about the size of Passat and Volvo S60

Well, what I hope is that Proton would use this opportunity for more technology transfer. The more they get the better their future would be. Getting the new frames and all the awesome stuff would be cost saving for Proton as they wouldnt need to redevelop a whole new system and just adapt what they had on to the new frames and stuff.

Actually geely only give 3 model for proton for a rebadge to help them increase their income for future model. After that proton will using the new platform that fully build from the grown by proton with geely & volvo help. This new platform is for a b-segment/a-segment car. Proton says they already starting making this new platform & new model from this platform will be out in 3 or 5 years.

I’ve been hoping 4ever 4 this car 2 b a proton. It looks like x4/6 but better looking! Proton shd bring this in cuz they don’t have suv coupe yet. But coupe is not that ideal 4 family, mayb that’s y this is not in the cards. We’re not at large a society that uses coupe as lifestyle yet; all practicals w/ x70 & x50. Mayb when proton sales # r stronger worldwide, we’ll get 2 c this 1 on our shores. Infuse sportiness & improve lushness & techs then we’ll have another winner from proton. But how they’re gonna price this? No park itself can’t b expensive than x50 😉. p.s. Adrian, would u have the Preface reviewed next? That car looks so good; hope that could replace the perdana.

Yes it's a must to be sold in Malaysia. It looks slightly smaller than X70 maybe it should be tag as X60 and please Proton use this kinda young colors instead of those boring colors that are use for Proton. This is a young man's kinda car more suitable painting it with eye catching colors like colors offered by Subaru XV (nardo grey/khaki green/desert khaki) etc. And chrome delete the exterior garnish/grill with piano black.

Actually I've been driven this vehicle near 20000. It's tough of the suspension, and u can feel tire and wind noise clearly. Boots space of back seats was enough with my feeling(I'm 178cm tall). But u must know that, the luxury vision in china only 200k yuan including awd Volvo t5 engine and aisin 8at, that's can not be given by other auto companies.
