islander steve this. As much as Tasteless trashes on Inno for not innovating, Inno’s real time adjustment from game to game was really impressive. Of coz he made mistakes but that was Maru he’s playing against, the pressure and the pace was incredibly high and fast. Anyhow, Inno’s decision making at least in tvt is nothing to be smeared at. BTW Maru, is inhuman.

Jake Lewson Inno is so strong that he uses the same build but be able to react to every enemy pushes and harassment, and have a strong 1-1 or 2-2 push with his great macro.

Innovation has been innovative. Remember in the beginning he was dominating everyone with hellbats and everyone copied him.. they had to nerf hellbats immediately after it was so dominant. He's also been dominant with mech in various periods which imo is probably what the developers intended. Most terrans focus on the bio ball. Maru has superior micro and he has an understanding of various timings. Just knows where to be at what time. But terran hasn't seen its final form yet..

4 years later and your comment has aged so well. Terran has evolved its form yet again, and Clem is the new Maru within sharper timings and pushes than Maru has/had.

People don't appreciate enough Maru's macro and multitasking, just look at the first push at 8:55, he spends all of his resources during the first fight while micro relentlessly.

Maru's execution in the first game was brilliant. Surprised that neither Artosis or Tasteless have seen the build before though. That reaper, hellion, medivac push has been around for quite some time. Then again, they both no longer play Starcraft II so maybe it's not a surprise.
