I think the game Artosis remembered was not Light vs. Rain but Light vs. Tempest. A single dragoon got 32 kills and won in spite of the core being destroyed twice. @@Tw0tsonIt’s probably too awkward to do that. Keep in mind that neither Tasteless nor Artosis have any control over this channel - it’s Soop (AfreecaTV)’s, so it would be on them to pay people to supervise the Premier, Moderate the Chat function, etc. Sure, it’s cheaper than running a full English cast on their own, but it would still eat into their budget (and depending on how much they pay their people, the Ad Revenue may not even cover those costs.)

Why did Rush even lift up his barracks when DTs were coming into his base? What was the point?
@KevinKaneCanadaАй бұрын
I think that either: 1) Rush had units outside of his main, so he had to lift his barracks to let those units get back inside his base, or 2) the barracks wasn't initially part of a wall, so he had to move it to try to create a wall to prevent more DTs from entering his base.
@jesse1381Ай бұрын
First DT went in completely unchecked. Rush was in major trouble at that point microing SCVs to try to stay alive while the ebay builds. Needed his Vultures back to his base asap so he lifted the Barracks to get his Vultures in without having to micro around the bunker because he was too busy. Rush was caught completely off guard and was too slow dropping the Barracks or could be he just forgot to land it sooner. Then when he noticed the 2nd DT hit the mine he immediately landed the Barracks which was a split second too late. There was a lot going on and his focus was on keeping SCVs alive and getting Turrets asap which he did save the expo and got rid of the DT. But yeah sadly for Rush the 2nd DT slipped in under the Barracks which was the nail in the coffin.

I could be totally off on this but my guess as to the reason for Rush barracks positioning in g1 was that he was expecting a gas steal because of the map and was trying to make it look like he was going cc first. Had it not been scouted I think he would of thrown down a 2nd barracks to completely all in. That position also keeps him more safe if its a proxy gateway,(which as they mentioned not as popular these days but hey you never know, bo7, 2 player map) rather than the barracks being more far forward/middle of the map. Good to know about the plugins that hide the video length time, I'll have to look into that. In the past I generally just try to avoid looking at the video length as suggested, or if I do see it I just tell myself well you never know how long/short games can be, maybe a shorter video(especially now with bo7 format) you could have all 7 games but some are just really short.
