We're most likely getting a Sonic Grey (Portifino Pearl, really.... right?) 2020 EX Hatch too... It really is the nicest color with the new black accents and the darker alloy wheels... And here we can only get a black on black interior with the EX, which also goes well with Sonic Grey.

I wish you could talk to the people that make Honda’s and told them to have all these features in the sport hatchback but make it so there is a push to start version of the car and an actual key version of the car
@AloysiusVelocitor4 жыл бұрын
The regular Sport is just an entry-level trim package with some minor drivetrain/handling improvements over the base2020 CVT Hatch. The Sport Touring, however, is the top of the line trim CVT based performance model. Meaning the Sport Touring is the best Non-Type R 2020 Hatch. It goes for about $30k though, when a loaded EX is about $25k..... That's $5k more than a CVT EX Hatch without a power moonroof, for 5hp more and 1 Inch larger wheels. To me it makes no sense; you can improve the performance and handling a Lot more with $1k in aftermarket performance upgrades. But it's the model you want if you want a 2020 Styled Hatch with a 6 Speed, and don't have $40k for a Type R. ;) Oh, and actual, regular physical keyed ignition is becoming a thing of the past. It's far too easy to bypass an old-fashioned keyed ignition. Check out this review of the 2020 Sport Touring: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJuZk4GHjbKXqJI

Great video. I have a problem I hope you can help me with. I am interested in purchasing the 2020 Honda Civic hatchback sport touring manual transmission. I would like to have it in the sonic gray color scheme. I live in Southern California and all the dealerships I contacted stated they don't have it in their inventory. One dealer told me there are only 4 in the state. However, none of the dealerships want to make an effort to get the vehicle for me. They will not tell me the name of the dealership, or attempt to make a trade or arraignments with the dealerships to acquire the vehicle. They just state, "I'm sorry. It is not in our inventory. I thought they are suppose to be the helpful Honda people. Do you have any connections with Honda that can help me resolve this issue? I would appreciate any suggestions you might have.
@JustinFullerReviews4 жыл бұрын
A dealership could order the car for you. But you are looking at 90 days of wait time. The Sonic Gray color has never been produced a large amounts. And compounding that with a manual transmission makes that number even lower. If you were willing to agree to numbers, put a deposit down and wait, I bet someone would go get the car for you.
@Tsalinger4 жыл бұрын
The manuals are hard to get so I just put down a thousand and ordered mine in Sport trim. Since it was an order I just went thru the Costco program and saved a few bucks. You still need a dealer but you get a discount. The insurance companies are cracking down on manuals so it won't be long and they will be gone.
@wynnhorton12084 жыл бұрын
@@JustinFullerReviews It is very unlikely that the other dealership will send it elsewhere.
@JustinFullerReviews4 жыл бұрын
When new Hondas are traded amongst dealerships it is just that, a trade. So while you are requesting a piece of inventory from that dealership, you have to have something they want in return. So if they are holding onto a very unique or rare vehicle they are much less likely to want to trade it. In this case a manual transmission, in Sonic Gray is exceptionally rare. The dealership I worked at, would only trade vehicles amongst dealers within a certain mile radius. We also had to have some sort of relationship with them. So while every dealership would love to trade and get you exactly what you want, it is not always that easy.

I would have expected at least a refresh on the infotainment system. Competitors are offering so much better stuff and Honda is really lagging behind. More than anything else, i want them to get rid of that stupid blind spot camera. They got rid of it on the Insight so why is it still on the Civic?
@JustinFullerReviews4 жыл бұрын
James, Honda has slowly been moving away from the blind spot camera and moving towards blind spot monitoring in the mirrors. You mentioned competitors are offering better features in relation to the infotainment system. Just curious what kind of features you are talking about? I would love to know what cool new features are out there..
@jamesgand8284 жыл бұрын
@@JustinFullerReviews I will actually use KIA forte as an example here: 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with power lumbar support (Civic has 8 with no lumbar support) Heated and ventilated front seats (civic only has heated) Dual-zone, fully-automatic air conditioning (single zone on civic) Wireless charger (non on civic) Blind Spot monitoring (Blind Spot Camera on Civic) A/C Vents for rear passengers These are some of the features I found to be important as a buyer. I compared these features to the top trim of Honda Civic to top trim of Kia Forte GT with GT2 package. Even with all of that, it still undercuts the touring price of civic by thousand. Not to mention how much power you get from that 201hp DCT. Some competitors also offer heated steering wheel (Mazda 3) or panoramic sunroof (Elantra GT-line). Now, I am mentioning this not to hate on Honda but I want them to do better for customers. I had a 2004 Honda for 14 years and I loved the darn thing and still have a ton of love for Honda but it's hard when your competition offers so much for less and offer more warranty. I am in the market for a car and I really like the exterior design for Honda but the interior design and features feel very outdated. If you disagree with me that is fine but you can't deny these facts. PS. I know every car manufacturer has a different mission for their cars and it's hard to compare them apples to apples but I only ask for the very basic features.

My 2016 civic/lemon with 16,000 miles on it problems: While driving my Civic/death trap a computer error caused the computer controlled electric/electronic parking brake to engage four times in series sliding the rear tires and jerking the car to a stop. The Honda service department technician said nothing they did fix the problem. I traded my Civic death trap for a 2017 Accord with a manual parking brake, and ask the American Honda Motor Co., Inc customer service to compensate me for my $3,669.49 loss on the deal. Honda's customer service department brush off employee said the parking brake problem was fixed although the tech told me it was not, and refused compensation. Bottom line: if you buy a lemon, you own a lemon, it's your problem. Other irritating features: Squeaky windshield wipers, had to replace to maintain my sanity. Excessive drivetrain noise. I installed sound deadening insulation in the floor front and back seat and the noise continued. 3 of 4 out of round tires replaced due to drivetrain noise. The irritating noise continued. I now drive a 2019 Altima SL without drive train noise. Enjoy the ride.
