I really don’t understand why those ghosts or subdued decal schemes are increasing in popularity. Marked cars that are supposed to be clearly visible and recognized to deter criminal activity. Personally never cared for them

It makes them less visible at night to be more stealthy while also allowing them to be considered marked vehicles

Remember, is the US, Police are not there for your safety. at least primarily. They are there for Revenue and "Numbers". And the Ghost decals allow then to get around the intent/spirit of the law without violating the text of the law.

I agree, makes sense for a more subdued slick top but a patrol car with a light bar and push bars its a little silly. it screams cop car day or night anyway.

Nice setup. Could a light package like this be set up so the it flashed blue/white on one side and red/yellow on the other? Back years ago I read an article where they stated white and yellow were used to help at dusk/dawn times. Tho I do not remember which color went with each time.

Even though this is obviously a cop car, I think stealth graphics should be illegal. Highly unethical for normal law enforcement in my opinion

If you can’t tell that this a cop car, I don’t know what to tell you. Between the blackout exterior, the pushbar, and the lightbar, this is most definitely a cop car. Stealth graphics are just a cool factor

Carson Stephens why do cop cars need to be “cool”? They’re a public service. Should be highly visible like the patrol cars in Europe and the rest of the world.

@@carsonstephens2508 The Graphics are (supposed to be) there for a safety and recognition factor for the general puric, not to look "cool". There is a valid reason Most state have laws requiring Patrol vehicle to be marked. This just helps them get around the spirit of the law and adhere to the text. It its mainly part of the polices current mentality of us vs them and no longer protecting and serving the public but instead serving themselves via tickets and forfeiture money which these ghost graphiced vehicle assist them with.
