2020 in Review: How one bus operator helped save someone's life

Mike McDaniel, President and General Manager of Coast Mountain Bus Company, shares how proud he is of transit workers. Mike applauds them for not only doing their jobs to the fullest extent, but also often going above and beyond to help keep our region moving throughout 2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic.
One example is bus operator Frank Tsai, who helped save a person’s life while driving the 408 Brighouse Station route last year. Frank recounts what happened with Mike and we hear from Susie Hundal, manager of Transit Communications.

Good heart Frank. There are so many drivers out there who have gone and go above and beyond the call of duty to care without recognition or acknowledgement. Thank you Frank for bringing to light the little the public knows of bus drivers whose daily acts of kindness and care is only known to those witnessing it in the moment and in silence.
