You being 6' 4" is not the cars fault.

I'm 6'4 and own one literally the exact same as this one in the video and I have no problems whatsoever with my height and the vehicle. It's actually extremely spacious.

Hahahahahaha Touche! This git is a bit of a whiner… “Road Noise” from the Tyres - Geeezuz, it’s an Off-Road bias for crying out loud.

Love the Jeep trail hawk editions.

Outside of maybe the new Bronco Sport, there is nothing even close to doing what this can do off road in this segment. The Rav 4 you mentioned is more of an appearance package than a full off road package.
@fasteddie53883 жыл бұрын
You should've used a limited trim model instead of the Trailhawk in your review if you want to compare it to other crossovers and make road manors etc a talking point. The Trailhawk is an offroad package for people that want more ruggedness and offroad ability. Those same people are gonna less worried about having the best road manners and are fine with the sacrifice. A Limited would've made a lot more sense.

Yeah, he lost me when he whined about having to actually drive the vehicle instead of having a computer keep it in the lane for him.

With that many complaints about a vehicle, maybe you should just stop, park, and walk.

I bought a trail hawk and love it not sure what your reviewing. Get around town great and did a obstacle police course with it.

@TwoSix I love it go around town take to some trails. I think it's a great mix.
@geneshadd44833 жыл бұрын
@TwoSix honestly I really like it. I drive through dc and it has great pick up. Very comfortable drive. I like the fact it drives great city and then I can go up in mountains.

Just enjoy the vehicle for what it is, and describe its features! Stop criticizing everything. If it's not to your taste then pick another vehicle. A Jeep is a Jeep. This version weights 4250 lbs, it has double piston calipers in the front, and the off-read tires are not going to offer perfect grip on a highway, so adjust your braking habits accordingly.

I have this same Jeep, down to the colour, and have been driving it on the highway, in the city, and off-roading to camping spots for a few months. So far I do see what he’s saying with the steering compared to something not off-road rated, however it’s not something that ever annoyed me personally after a couple days driving it. I’m 6’ and have the seat cranked almost all the way up because I like to ride high and don’t find any issues myself. I personally like the power that the Jeep has and almost wish it had more. Although it is peppy If you want to be, if you aren’t 3/4 of the way “flooring it”, it’ll drive nice and smooth. Liked the video though! But probably because of driving it everyday, being a bit shorter, and having time to get used to it and adjust I find it an awesome vehicle and one of the smoothest I’ve driven on or off-road!

I own that model as well, except in black. I'm 5'8" and have wondered myself hall "tall" drivers like it and you answered that question. I bought this brand-new last year because we now live in a mountain town way above LA and my 2013 Grand Cherokee was 2WD (and rear wheel drive at that). I DIG my trail hawk, and agree with others that the limited etc. is much better for hard-surface comfort, but I don't care about that stuff. My only complaint is that the MoPar V6 is now only 3.2, as opposed to my last two jeeps which had either the 3.6 or 3.7. 4-cylinders are against my religion.

The non trailhawck editions are smoth in the road and have 4x4 goodies. You should test other versions

Well. This is supposed to be a review of the Cherokee, but you got a Cherokee Trailhawk and blaming it for not being an Overland, a Limited or Altitude Trim.

Did this guy just complain about having to steer the Jeep while driving on a highway? Lol what?
@jeremystout4122 жыл бұрын
It appears to have Lane Sense right by the hazard button, you just have it off… the TrailHawk Elite definitely has that along with FCW/with braking also seeing that it has Park Sense (as in it can park itself), etc.
@adrokk25154 жыл бұрын
Taking an offroad rated vehicle for a drivers test probably isn't the best idea anyway. I had the 2018 Terrain before getting this and it was twice as loud on the highway.
@James-xb5pn3 жыл бұрын
This is the best CSUV for offroading the Bronco Badlands does not have a two case transfer system and does not have a rear locker. The Rav 4 Adventure I would accept the donations to anyone who wastes money on a Rav 4 TRD the upgrades are TRD badge and a skid plate. I would also like to point out that the interior that you are complaining about too much plastic the Bronco has way more plastic. I do not know I have driven a few vehicles before buying this one and the Rav 4 making almost 100 less horsepower and averaging about 9.5 vs 11.5. The TRD costs more but you will probably get stuck in a Walmart parking lot in winter. I bet you really enjoy that. The steering is a interesting one I drive trucks often so maybe I find loose steering normal but to say that it takes up all your time concentrating on it I am sorry maybe you need to retake your drivers license exam. I also am sure you gave the Honda CRV a great review with its shitty fuel economy and power.
@boblozaintherealworld35772 жыл бұрын
I bought the 2020 exact same version. I live on a mountain top now and this feisty 4WD gets me out of and thru anything. Wish the 3.2 V6 was a bit larger (like they use to be) but still has a lot of that low end Mopar torque. I've read other reviews comparing the TH to the Mazda (polite city car) and the new Bronco. Definitely anti-Cherokee bias in the auto critics world. Too bad. I love this this Jeep with all it's quirks.

Great video, we just leased a new Cherokee in June and while I feel the interior is a little dated, overall it’s a nice vehicle. We opted for the Limited trim and has the features we like. There are some vehicles in this category we prefer but the incentives are what drew us to this model. We looked at the Trailhawk and liked the look of the vehicle but it’s actually almost an inch higher than the limited and with my arthritis that made us opt for the limited. Like I said before I enjoy your videos and am looking forward to the next one. Stay safe.

You say you can't relax while driving it, but you spent more time looking at the camera and the steering wheel barely moved while you were cruising down the highway. Looked like you were pretty relaxed to me. Not trying to be a troll but just calling it like I see it.

Can tow 4500lbs also v6 does not have direct port fuel injection thus no carbon build up. Huge expense with competition.
@beedeviled18963 жыл бұрын
Wow he hated it. Wonder what you consider a competitor who exceeds the Trailhawk for on and off-road capability at the same price point. There's low mileage 2020's going for $25k. Going to look into the Toyota, if it's yet available.

First of all being 6.4 and complain for sitting position in nonsense. Than you are complaining for off road suv that is too soft with body roll, and than gas pedal was too sensitive. I just stop there, I can't....

i'm 6'2" and have one without the sunroof. Way more headroom. It's a blast to drive. Unfortumately it has too much oversteer in the corner on hard accelleration, but It has taken me through Minnesota snowstorms, no problem. It's almost perfect for a small 4x4. And you don't feel like a wannabe driving it
