The naked middleweight class is now the most competitive it's ever been, you've the MT-09, KTM 790 & 890R , Street Triple R & RS, Ducati 821 and then the value for money Suzuki GSX-S750 & Kawasaki Z900, something there for everyone.

Man, the competition has really helped add features and lower the prices for the class. Don't forget the BMW F 900 R is on that list now, too. I think technically it's cheaper than the Kawasaki Z900 and is just as loaded on features. I'm between the MT-09, Z900, and the F 900 R. It's gonna be very hard to choose one.

A couple notes on the bike as an owner. The windshield does absolutely nothing (not a huge issue), it pulls like an animal, it is actually super approachable because of how linear the torque is, the preload is set all the way down in the rear from factory so set it to your correct weight before going into anything crazy, and my last note is that the stock exhaust is TERRIBLE! You are going to want to put a full system on it as soon as possible. All in all it is a fantastic bike that keeps impressing me every time I ride it!

I searched for hours and only found one or two of that color . 20 years ago I got a used 1984 KZ 550 LTD . Then in 2019 I got a red Z900 ( only has ABS ) . I liked it so much that I then got a blue 2020 . I have 1500 miles on it and about 6500 miles on the red one . I love them both - I am also 6 1 and about 200 lbs . I don't do tricks or anything but on the red 2019 bike - after the 600 mile break in, I always accelerated hard . Even so, I got 5000 on the rear tire before replacement . I almost never use the rear brake ... The fastest I have been is 145 MPH on both bikes . What about you ?

Also did the Z900 windshield work at all?
@Adamn584 жыл бұрын
I actually own a 2020 Z900 and I can tell you the windshield does absolutely nothing. But there are aftermarket options to fix that. The Z900 is a truly amazing bike that is so tame down low but rowdy as hell when you pin it! Highly recommend it to anyone looking in that class of bikes. Also if you’re worried about power it makes 95hp in the low power setting so you could always start there and move up to the full 125

Wrong you do not need to stop to change power modes. Let off the throttle and hold the down the selector mode for a few seconds.

Try a 1973 Kawasaki z900 freight train since day one lol Kawasaki for life. That was a good review and the color is awesome black and green is beautiful to

Comparing it to fz09 sounds biased because most of the info you gave is incorrect. I own a 2020 z900. Can easily change riding modes on the go. Have 4 to choose from. The only accurate info you gave is the positives you noted.
