Finally one of your videos pop up on my timeline. Maybe because I recently bought a 2020 KIa Soul S. I love my little funky ride but so far because of COVID-19, I've only driven to work, Walmart and home. I'm bored!

What's up, Stan? So glad you found the channel and congrats on the new ride! Hope you're navigating this Covid mess ok. I think the last time we spoke was that night at the airport a few years ago. Crazy. Well I'm glad you commented and thanks for watching!

I like the updated look of the Soul, especially the rear. Great review! (And I love the self deprecating humor about the earlier review. I know the feeling! 🤣)

Yeah. It's definitely not all roses, JAX. We'll see how this one does. Thanks for watching!

Mine’s blue, 45,000 miles and going, I got continental tires, but the original Goodyear’s were better than I had expected while they lasted. I use premium fuel to reduce spark knock, you’re only buying 11.5 gallons at a time anyway.

For Canadian buyers, the 1.6 Turbo isn't available, which is a shame. I loved the practicality of the vehicle, but the stiff suspension and heated windshield (tiny filaments embedded into the front glass) kept me from purchasing one. Once I noticed the filaments, I couldn't unsee it! It felt like I was looking through a microwave door to see the road. Another person who was with me didn't notice them at all, so it's something people need to testdrive to experience.

Imagine a Kia Soul GT-Line with the 2.0L Turbo from the Hyundai Veloster? Now that would be a hoot to drive!

Ha! Sure would, Mowcowbell. Thanks for watching!

Another great, no-frills review. Just the way I like 'em. Btw, I saw a Soul that looked identical to the one reviewed on display at Costco a couple of weeks ago and was duly impressed. That red is very appealing and the rims and tires looked good, as well. The stick was $29K. I wasn't aware of the various models and so I didn't check. I do think it might have been this on, though. I've been trying to get my daughter to dump her lousy Mini Coopers for one of these but the looks just don't appeal to her. A shame.

Yeah. The looks can be polarizing, but the overall car is really nice. We appreciate you watching, Ron LHeureux!

Not for me guys, I would rather drive the Telluride
@ronlheureux76235 жыл бұрын
And it only how many thousand more expensive than this Soul? I'd rather drive a Stinger GT2. Not really apples to apples, tough.

Good luck parking that Telluride in urban parking garages with 'compact car' spaces. The Soul is a great vehicle for people who want a easy handling with nice cargo carrying vehicle.

Great REVIEW!!!!! I like the Soul. I hope a LSD and AWD will considered in a future update. The space, quirkiness, and boxy style make these stand apart from other “eco” minded rides.

Exactly, canonlybeme4life. And that 1.6T and DCT are a great combination. Stay tuned. We have more in the works with a similar powertrain! Not quite as boxy this time, tho.😁

Steering gets stiffer in sport mode and throttle response changes in sport mode😂 there is a major difference

$28,700 for a kia soul nah definitely no-go with this one $3,000 more and that's a kia stinger 2.0T premium! Kia should discontinue the soul come out with something better it's played out just like that scion xb that was discontinued 4 years ago along with the rest of the scion's

No one pays MSRP for a Kia Soul GT Line. You can easily get $3-$5K discounts on these.

The engine sound of this car is awful. I guess owning V8s has me spoiled.

There's nothing like the growl of a V8, Alex Stickney. And since you're a connoisseur of 8-cylinders, you might appreciate this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m2i9fqCofJ2jna8 Thanks for watching!

Sorry,,what car were you reviewing? 😂 Old design.. It can go away.
@AutoAcademics5 жыл бұрын
Old or original, Torsee? We agree, it's not for everyone, but there are a lot of people who like its looks because it's different. Crazy how many of them are on the road in the Atlanta area. At any rate, thanks for watching!
