I fitted a Fiamma 45 Awning so easy and you can roll it out once the Karavan is in the up position.

Hi Scott Agreed looks like it is easier! Would appreciate some advice. Was the Fiamma awning easy to install and is it too heavy in spec for the van? Did you go through a particular Fiamma dealer? Any modifications needed to be done to the van? I was told if you did modifications to the skin that you had to get the van re-certified. Are the legs and crank long enough once the van is fully up? Thanks

@@JL-dm9gu the awning is easy to use and quick to roll in if the wind comes up, I brought it from a Fiamma agent in Sydney can’t remember who and had it delivered, I had no idea how I was going to install it that was the challenge, there are three brackets to mount it, I used one in the centre, the other two brackets I had fabricated using galvanised steel plate and powder coated, the three brackets are bolted straight through the wall and roof with plates on the inside, I have photos and I’m on the Kimberley Facebook site or connect with me on Facebook, cheers.
