At 68, I still like instinct / bare bow shooting whenever I can. I get carried away watching these tournaments though.

What type of material is used in the targets being shot at? They really stop the arrows nicely. Where can the average person find a target such as these?
@brianmincher7164 жыл бұрын
Grounded Lancaster archery supply who is sponsoring this tournament would be happy to sell you one of those target butts, I’m sure.

They are foam targets, I assume?

World archery now has a small white dot for 12 but only can use like once am end and must declare you are shooting for it

Why are the targets so far away?!
@mocknugget4 жыл бұрын
noswad75 It isn’t. It’s 18m the camera makes it look so far and small

Awesome that fitness is lifted up as something that every archer should incorporate into their sport, as it stands now it's a pretty sad sight to see most of elite "athlete" archers being fat or obese. You know things are going to shit when e-sport has more fit people in it than archery.

its just the type of people who take up the hobby. Most lanky kids dont like physical sports so video games are right up their alley.

I know this is an old comment but look at 2016 Lancaster classic, all of 2017 indoor, part of 2018 indoor. He's recently been using fat arrows because he figured out how to make them work with his set up.

I totally agree with Crispin about fitness .. if you look at 85% of the American archers they are obese and out of shape

I’ve always thought those stabilizers were completely lame. They should not be allowed in competition. Should be making it more challenging not less
@brianmincher7164 жыл бұрын
GuitarD30 perhaps you would like to watch bare bow. That division doesn’t have stabilizers or sights.
@ffauzan74084 жыл бұрын
I know right. Its like having a mitt for softball or baseball. They should just catch it with there hands

Need to ban that Brady Ellison guy. Comes to the tourneys just to collect a check over and over and takes opportunities away from people that have never won!! These should only be allowed to show up a certain number of times then that’s it. Go somewhere else and give someone else a chance. Need money Ellison, go get a job at McDonald’s and make room for someone new.

What kind of stupid nonsense is this. Let the best compete.

Noswad that's the world of sports. He trained really hard to get to that level of shooting and you're telling him to work at McDonald's. You got nerves dude
