@@slikerdet Indeed! U.S. DOT/EPA Won't Allow the Technology here. Mack is Better Now Because Of VOLVO (My Choice). I would Much Rather Prefer the Volvo "Globetrotter" Cabover over ANY Conventional Tractor. Scania was Here Briefly but soon Disappeared. I like the MAN A/C but have Only read about it.

Len - Zeplin Len - Zeplin what about dot epa..? What is that. ? But your American truck brands are so bad and don’t follow the technology. Look. In Europe we have air conditioning and diesel heater so the cabin have a good temperature when the driver sleeps even if it’s cold outside or hot. I have seen that u don’t use diesel heaters when it’s cold and your sleeping. 2 Volvo has dual clutches and with I shift that’s a “automatic gearbox “. You don’t lose any power in hills and so on.. and why the facking hell do u use Manuel gearbox with 18 gears..? U have almost automatic gearbox on cars, why not on trucks. ...??? If you drive 10 hours each day and shifting gears all the time .. it will only lead to lose some concentration and so on. Also Volvo and Scania and Mercedes have good safety features that American trucks don’t have. And the reason why American trucks don’t sell in Europe is because they are not safe enough.... European trucks , like Volvo scania Mercedes have given the driver most good features and the driver is the key important element. Fack I have seen you don’t have adjustable steering wheels. You don’t know what xenon lights are, you mount small auxiliary lights in a low place on the trucks. You all got the same mirrors on the sides with a round mirror on the bottom with no heat for the winter. You have chrome and it’s only the look and not what’s important on the inside. Fack you don’t use proper winter tires. The problem with you in USA you don’t know what good is even if it hit you in the head. You work long days but are not efficient enough. Len - Zeplin oki. As I say welcome after .......If you see on KZbin from Mercedes factory how they make their trucks and compare it to yours then you know why European trucks are better. And it’s better to have the engine under the cabin so the driver can see more in front of him. Scania and Volvo are big brands and delivers all over the world. Best engines, best safety and so on. American trucks are behind with 15 years when it come to technology. Your trucks will never take the marked. Too something else, do you get your driver license thrown after you..? Easy to get..?

Driven both 1970's and '90's Macks,the latter being Renault owned,not nice trucks these days,haven't aged well....both in New Zealand! I'd buy that,if things pan out here in Scotland,i might be US bound again?

What a great looking truck. Another know how much plastics is used to make trucks these days compared to 20’years who? I’d love to see comparison. Weight of truck= Weight of plastic used = Weight of aluminum used= Weight of steal used = I bet the plastic weight went up double if not triple since the 90s trucks.

This is a nice looking truck. Mack should have gloss blacked the fairing extenders, the color change really stands out in a bad way.

@7runamuck They Are Real Rubber. Hard to Keep Paint on. They are Made that way so When Drivers are Docking in tight Situations, They get Barried in the Side of the Trailer. These Spring back out & hold their Shape better but they Turn Grey after a Year.
