Who signed off on this ad? The sleeper model shown is not a day cab and the truck rolling down the highway is a Kenworth, not a Mack. I'm all for made-in-America Mack trucks just not for an ad put together by someone who appears to have never sat behind the wheel.

Let's not forget Mack was bought in the 1980's by Renault, which was bought by Volvo in 2000. This stopped being an "American icon" 40 years ago.

The first truck I learned to drive was a 61 B model Mack with a duplex later I learned to drive a triplex long time since 1967

Don't want to break anyone heart but the Mack Anthem is just a renewed version of the "R" Model Mack from back in the 80's😊😊

Until Mack start building a response to the Kenworth W900,Peterbilt 389 or 589 and Western Star I'm still not convinced they are among the big boys again. They had that respect in the old R600 series and the Superliner RWs back in the day. Now Mack just gives you that soft lower level truck feeling. You see a new Mack now and you don't even care to know the horse power or drive train specs, but then again most people driving these new Mack don't know anything about them except the interior features blue tooth, lane keep ect so makc is just riding with the generation I guess.

O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸 My friend, I’m so with you on that! I don’t know when Volvo bought out Mack, but I do agree that it’s just a Volvo with the Mack emblems on it & nothing can change that! I have some friends who swear that it’s still a Mack & others who say that the engine IS DEFINITELY a Volvo engine. I’ve said that I would not have a new Mack, but actually I would…just give me the truck on a frame & I will put in my own American made Series 60 Detroit engine. No DEF & all American otherwise. I love the looks of the trucks & that’s it! Well, that’s how I feel about it. Blessings. 🤩😎✌️

I’m shocked. Pretty much the Same cab and doors and wipers since 1990. My 1999 CL700 looked to have more interior room! They would be better off to bring back the R series if they want you to drive a new old truck

My first truck I started driving was in a mack R model an that truck had a Cummins engine with a 13spd manual transmission an I drove that truck in all 48 states sometimes I got a motel room you wanted ac you open the vents or roll the window down now they make junk you need to be a rocket scientist now to fix it then when I got out of the mack I moved up to peterbilt

I’m a Mack tech in Canada bud. I’m here to tell you they’re easier than most to work on, but you do it twice as often 😂 if you’re lucky you’ll get to work on some of the older girls pre ‘08 and you’ll understand just how bad the new ones are.

Trucking industry is suffering due to DAF issue, matter of facts it is phobia about Corbin emission, but it is all normal and natural, if someone has inhaling problems then he or she need better need better cabin air filter and should close his door inside the vehicle but it is not fair you making trucking industry with DEF system and which reduce truck life or broke down any time and cost labor and parts too expensive. While it increases truck price too high on the roof.

Hope I don’t have to drive a Mack again, one of the worst truck I’ve ever driven probably the worst. Suspension is terrible soundproofing very bad, comfort horrible ! It’s a noooooooooo for me !

I couldnt wait to get rid of my mack....pure junk! Its off warranty look out!!! Only good mechanic i found was in atlanta....not good when your broke down in Milwaukee....no one works on them, you need a mechanic that is certified by mack....still got my dads 1961 RB, a b model rebuilt with a r cab and hood in 1972.

Ahhhh... getting so, so ,so tired of these " leaders " of the trucking industry going on and on how this will "transform" the trucking industry and " this will retain drivers from all over and make the company profitable" Go and take a look at manufacturers 15 years ago and you'll hear the same exact words!! Every year its the same thing....yada yada yada... can the CEOS say the truth...their truck sucks and you'll be in the shop every week for weeks on end for some " ISSUE " that the CEO'S can't even explain!! HMMMMMMM...I betcha almost 99% don't even know how to drive a truck!!! Just saying....

I can not believe this crap is still being put out. These people have probably never ridden in or driven in a Mack Anthem. I had a brand new one recently and could not wait to hand it back for a four year old Volvo. No room, no comfort no good. All the technology you talk about is from their sister company Volvo, as is the engine, automated gearbox and axles. The software belongs to Renault Vehicles another sister company of Volvo in Europe. It’s unwatchable.👎
