Your analysis is spot on. This car is definitely special and is sitting in a very distinct sub segment. Good job explaining it too. I like your "mid video" explanation too earlier

Driving experience- How does it compare to a Q2 ?

In terms of size, quality, practicality & price, Mazda CX-30 can compete against Audi Q2, BMW X2, Mercedes Benz GLA, Mini Cooper Countryman and Toyota CH-R. It is just my opinion. Please advise. Thanks!

@@rainsyahdante6702 Have you drove a corolla cross? Fuckin dead soul. In my opinion, mazda cx-30 and toyota chr have better driving experience. However, yes chr in Malaysia sucks. But when I use it back then in Japan, it was a no brainer choice. Tho cx-30 is a good one (wayy better than corolla cross in terms of driving experience). But fuel consumptio etc, ngl the corolla cross better la. Tho I much prefer the Harrier compare to all of that.

@@moshans8906 well ofc have , if I didn't i wouldn't talk about it, chr here quite suck, imagine , u get chr while u pay money of cx5 or crv yet the chr is entry level not the highest varient, outside i remember it doing meh but surely better than here

The cladding is huge - but it looks quite good on the white option (my favourite colour).

Eu Jin, you didn’t mention about the torsion beam rear suspension. Has there been an impact on the road handling and comfort due to the cost cutting design? It’s priced the same as a CX 5 2.5L and people may have a hard time choosing between them.

Hi how's the Subaru xv in comparison to this in terms of handling and bootspace and cabin noise level?
@Singdollar4 жыл бұрын
Handling is probably on par. Sound proofing is also similar. Xv Interior quality and infotainment is no match for the Mazda( it's better that Merc A-class, b, cla, gla). If you can look past the interior and infotainment then vx is also a solid option. The cvt lag is not too bad either. The power is sufficient for the car.

I think it will compete directly with the Mazda3 since the price is quite close......but my preference would lean slightly towards the Mazda3 hatchback for its eye-catching sportiness (love the thick C-pillar)

Somehow I sense the only closest competitor would be the CH-R, in terms of driving dynamics, form over function design cues, and pricing in M'sia (both are globally meant to be banging on the HRV's door)
@Singdollar4 жыл бұрын
CH-R is really stiff at the back and causes car sickness. The mazda is much more composed in that sense
